Iowanice x 2 Details: Hi! ~Ron and I are the proud owners of a teardrop camper named Wall-E. After many years of tent camping with three scouts and on family vacations, we decided to finally get up off the ground. We've owned Wall-E for 8 years and have close to 29, 000 miles seeing the US and Canada. ~We are currently empty nesters of 4 "sometimes" wonderful kids. We have 4 grand kids which we never see enough of. Looking forward to teaching them the great sport of camping and seeing the country. ~ Ron and I are both still employed as we have very expensive hobbies. We both love to cycle and always include RAGBRAI on our yearly calendar and we're both on ski patrol at the local family ski resort. ~ We love meeting new people and seeing new sights. Life is too short to stay in one place. Home Town: Bettendorf, Iowa

the generous hosts and their beautiful dog met us out front when we got there, showed us where to park, offered us power and yes Missy shared her delicious chocolate chip cookies with us. super nice skiing family - we would welcome them and Wall-E in Vermont any season!

Missy met us on arrival, got us positioned on the street, and set up with electricity. She would not take any money. she was kind and welcoming. This is a good place to spend the night, close to the highway, but without the noise.

I spent two nights in the Wall-E world driveway and toured numerous areas along the Mississippi. Missy could not have been more accommodating and she was fast to respond to my stay request. She even gave me a bag of cookies as I was getting ready to pull out... They were fantastic. I will certainly stay here again if my travels ever bring me back this way.

We stayed two separate nights recently. It was easy to find and plenty of space on a quiet cul-de-sac. I think the only noise I heard was the birds chirping! Missy and Ron are super nice and it was a great bonus to receive her brownie cookies! Missy also gave us some idea of things to do in the area. Definitely would stay again!
