We are in Douglasville just off the I20. 40 minutes from downtown Atlanta, 15 minutes from Six Flags and 10 mins from Sweetwater state park
No smoking please, children to be supervised
The road to the house off the main road is quite steep - house and parking area is about 1/4 mile off main road. Its a combination of concrete at the top and then gravel.
There are trees and a reverse into parking position but plenty of space to do it and you can drive straight out.
We have a 36ft Class A and it presents no issues.
Because our drive is pretty steep we have reduced the advised length for anything towable - the towed rv is better in the 25ft and under range although a class A and C would be ok at the longer length
seperate parking available if required
Wonderful host couple. Enjoyed talking with them and had a very restful night sleep.
Rob and Lynne were a very friendly couple. When we arrived that area of Georgia had received several inches of rain and the area where the campers were parked was quite soggy. Since we were only 17 feet long, Rob let us park in the back of his home where they had a concrete pad. He helped get us get set up and even offered an extra extension cord to reach our camper. Thank you Rob and Lynne for your hospitality.
Rob welcomed us upon our arrival and gave us variable places to park for the evening.
His surroundings were quiet, peaceful and beautiful . Would definitely be back on another trip west.
Thank you so much
Our two-night stay with lynnefox was absolutely wonderful, peaceful, and just perfect thanks to these kind and generous hosts.
The location is convient to groceries, fuel, etc. yet still you're in the country on a farm in a quiet and beautiful setting. Everything was just as described. We certainly hope to stay with lynnefox again in the future.
The hosts of Wandering Fox Farm are so pleasant and so nice to talk to! They came out to greet me upon my arrival and showed me where to park. I wish I could have gotten out to explore more during my stay, but work was busy, so I just stayed in and worked, other than the day that I left, and I was able to take some time after work, and they went on a little hike with me in the back of their property. That was so nice to get away, and so nice of them to go along with me! It was great to talk to them and get to know them a little, and I'm so glad I was able to stay with them and to have met such a nice couple!
We had a wonderful stay at Wandering Fox! They were friendly, gracious hosts and I would definitely stay again when in the area.
Unfortunately my visit was very brief as I was on a push to get home and had some on the road meetings to participate in. I arrived to a very friendly welcome that continued the next morning on a dog walk. Speaking of that, my dog would like to mention that this host has a great back yard with hiking trails right out the back.
Sorry nice visit!
Stayed here a few days over our time due to heavy rain in area. Learned a lot of information on moving trucks/RV's after heavy rain in Georgia, but host went above and beyond helping us get in/out of his property. Great stay!
