We are located a short 10 minute walk from Johnson Space center. The government facility is closed to the public but Space Center Houston is a public attraction. Galveston Bay is 5-6 miles away. Repair facilities are very close. There is a Mercedes Sprinter repair station 6 miles away. There is a genset repair station about 10 miles away. We have a vehicle we will lend to guests to do shopping or local touring. Suggested Local Attractions:Space Center Houston San Jacinto Battlefield Battleship Texas Kemah Boardwalk Galveston Island is 30 minutes away

We are a non smoking house No loud music after 9 PM. Dogs on a leash if walking in the neighborhood.

Access Road Conditions: We have no trouble getting our sprinter (height 11'6") into our house. We have hosted a 34’Class A without any issue. BUT.... Rigs with a combined tow & rv length greater than 40’ will have difficulty maneuvering from the street to our driveway. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Combined tow vehicle and rv length should not exceed 40’. That is the maximum length that can be backed into our driveway. On street parking in front of the house for tow vehicle

Retired but enjoy meeting new people Details: My wife Anne and I are both retired. We have travelled by motorcycle, trawler, and now are enjoying our class B+ van. We’re trying to do 75,000 miles in the next 5 years. Covid has set us back somewhat. We’re going to have to get moving more in 2022 Home Town: We will in Nassau Bay, Texas. Johnson space center is a 10 minute walk. All manner of shopping is close by. This is a quiet treed neighborhood. It is very pleasant for walking. We are a short 10 minute drive from Galveston bay, and a 25 minute drive to the beaches of Galveston island. Favorite Boondocking Locations: The closest locations to us are the Texas hill country or the high plains of west Texas. We are planning a trip to Alaska as well as Newfoundland. Time is short and we have miles to go Skills or Expertise to Share: I have Some mechanical skills. I retired from the fabrication business. I have friends still in that business if you need something made for your rig. IMPORTANT: Because the HH website does not allow hosts to view member details including phone number, even after granting a request for a stay. We REQUIRE that members include a cell phone number with a request so we can stay in contact on your journey to our location. Failure to do this will result in your request being declined

Anne and Kevin were such wonderful hosts! we felt like old friends after the first night we stayed there. there generosity is overwhelming! they offered us diner, washer and dryer, electricity. wow! thank you so much. thank god for putting such people on our way!

Eddie and I had an absolute wonderful time on the hosts property. We spent time talking and getting to know each other. They were so kind and helpful. They gave Eddie a lot of attention and he loved every minute of it. Eddie and I really appreciate the host having us stay on their property. Thank you again

Anne and Kevin are genuinely the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I wish for every traveler to meet at least one Kevin and Anne in their travels. Their kindness and generosity cannot be surpassed but beyond all the things they offer, the greatest gift they offer is themselves. Sometimes it’s hard to accept such generosity but in Anne and Kevin’s home, it feels so natural and they make you feel like old friends or family. It’s truly just who they are! We spent the evening with them, they are both fantastic listeners and lovely storytellers, being with them is a shared experience. I cannot begin to tell you how much we enjoyed them and recommend staying with them, your heart and soul will thank you! Anne and Kevin, thank you! We definitely plan to come back :)
