You know those days that start out in the toilet and keep you there all day. That was what our travel day was like. Every time we thought we found purchase to haul ourselves out the water speed would pick up and off we went again circling the drain. Aaron was very patient with us and even met us on arrival with a big smile and warm welcome. The vortex had finally ended.
The road from I-84 was in great condition having been recently resrfaced. Should be easy with big rigs n toads. We were lullabied by coyotes and drove back thru an absolutely gorgeous farming valley teaming with game birds of all kinds. A complete opposite of yesterdays start.
Thanks for High Desert Hills and AaronR for offering it!
The host was very kind and met us at the spot for us to park.
We had a nice quiet morning night.
The next morning he invited us to take a tour of his textbook-making shop and our kids got to spiral bind and soft bind their own blank books to color!
We had a fabulous time getting to know them and their staff.
We look forward to getting to visit again.
