Located just off state highway 29a we have a 6 acre property where we live when not traveling. Parking is on grass unless it has rained and then parking is allowed in the driveway for one RV. We have had groups as large as 10 RVs enjoy the property on weekends. Fresh water faucet available to fill your RV tank. Suggested Local Attractions:The only covered bridge left in Herkimer County, a library, and a free town museum (open Sunday) is within walking distance of our property. There are several diners within 4 miles. Also a hometown grocery 4 miles away as well as a Dollar General and gas stations with gas and diesel fuel available. Fridays from 9-1 there is a farmers market in town. There is a dump station available 2 miles away in a campground for $15 per dump.

Now full-time, love traveling. Details: We're in our mid 60s and retired from 30+ years from the transportation department of a pubic school system in central NY. Travel to the desert southwest the last couple winters, Love the dry heat in the area. Occasionally traveling to FL to visit friends and family. Been camping for years owning all types of RVs except a 5th wheel. Like traveling to new places. Been to about 45 U.S. states. Home Town: Salisbury NY was our hometown. Now it's wherever the road takes us! Favorite Boondocking Locations: Favorite location is BLM land just outside of the Badlands NP. Also boondocked west of the Salton Sea in CA.

What an awesome couple living in paradise! Really down to earth folks are readying to embark upon their own full time travels. Rod and Lisa are great hosts, kind considerate and full of compassion. I think we’ve made some lifelong friendships and plan to keep in touch with their adventures! Hopefully they’ll let us return the favor in the Pacific NW!

Rod’s farm was a great first stay! He welcomed us as soon as we got there and showed us the vast area we could park and then let us be for the rest of the night. He gave us a great sheet of places to go and FAQs which was a really nice and welcome addition. Thanks Rod for the great stay!

Rod was quick to respond even though it was very short notice. He helped guide us to our spot when we arrived and the night sky & breeze were perfect. The covered bridge & covered bridge diner were both within walking distance and made for a great morning walk with my family.
