We are out in the country and its always quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room to do whatever you want.
Verizon signal is 1 to 2 bars (most days)
ATT signal is 1 to 2 bars (more reliable then Verizon)
Of course some days are worse then others.
Our WIFI is too slow to share....one of the disadvantages of living in the country
Leave it like you found it.
Well behaved pets are welcome.
You can use the trash and recycling cans in front of the garage.
I am retired so will be around most of the time, happy to answer any questions you might have.
$5 electric donation will be left up to you. Unless you are running something all day, it may not be necessary to pay.
The road coming to the house is paved, but very bumpy (about a 1/4 mile long). I recommend going slowly.
The turn into the driveway is easy but you do have to turn sharp.
NOTE: make sure you go LEFT of the garage to get to your spot next to the big building in the back. Do not go between the garage and the house which is our back yard and has a septic field system in it. If this is unclear please call me.
You will then have to drive thru our side yard to get to the back property to park along side the large building in the back. We do it everyday, so no problems. The only time we would not allow this is in the spring when the 1st thaw starts.
If you look at the pictures you can get a real good idea of the few obstacles we have to get to the back of the property. Never had a bus or extremely tall RV pass thru, but if there would be a problem then staying in the driveway would also be fine but you would need to back out to the road to leave.
There is plenty of room for parking. Next to your RV or staying connected.
We don't mind hosting anytime, the exception is a lot of snow or the 1st thaw in the spring.
In winter time it would be important to reach us first.
We do a lot of last minute trips, but feel free to give us a shout and see if we can accommodate you.
Many of our trips have poor cell coverage. I will do my best to respond.

After a somewhat challenging day on the road, we were so grateful to settle in at this host’s beautiful country property. We were given all the details we needed to “make ourselves at home” and were welcomed by our hosts from afar as they were not at home. We took some nice walks on the quiet roads with our pup and watched the sun set on the surrounding fields. It was a lovely end to the day and a wonderful night’s sleep before pulling out in the morning.
We were greeted as soon as when we got there and were helped with navigation to our spot. She was friendly, extremely helpful and accommodating. She went above and beyond offering electric and water hook up. She even offered us internet hook up, when she checked on us later that evening! The spot was very quiet and peaceful. If we ever pass through again, we'd love to visit again and spend more time!
Due to their schedules our interaction with our hosts was a little limited. Yet they were very caring about making sure our stay was good. She checked on us a few times to make sure everything was okay. He even took the extra step of measuring the height of a branch before our arrival to ensure we would fit under it. Nice folks and a nice stay.
Jim was away camping, but interrupted his own bike ride to respond promptly to a question as we were hooking up. We enjoyed chatting with Kathy later, too. The location was quiet, clean and spacious and they made trash and recycling reception Les available. It was an easy walk to the state park and enjoyed checking out the trails there. We also enjoyed dinner at the Crooked Ewe Brew House and exploring Notre Dame’s campus on South Bend.
Stopped off here for the night on our way south. Enjoyed a lovely Indiana sunset and good conversation in a peaceful setting. Thanks for your hospitality.
We had an awesome stay. Justjim and Kathy were perfect hosts. Enjoyed visiting and sharing stories before turning in. They decided on a last minute camping trip while we were there and were fine with us staying. We will definitely stay again if we’re in the area.
Justjim was friendly and helpful. The accommodations were great. Quiet at night. Nestled in the corn fields and a true country feel. I would stay here again.
Justjim’s place was so very quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Electric and water were offered for a small donation and we happily accepted. Couldn’t get a Verizon signal but that was no biggie. We would gladly come again! Thank you!
Although they were on their own vacation, they allowed us to stay at their place. Water and electric hookups were great. Wifi was weak and so was cell reception for Verizon. Maybe another provider is better. TV roof reception was great.
Thanks to our hosts for trusting us and allowing for us to stay at your property.
