We are on 2 acres in an older subdivision that was considered, "in the country" back in the 70's Montgomery County is now the fastest growing Co per capita for the past 3 years in the USA so things are changing pretty fast. We however are still pretty private and at the end of a dead end street. The RV spot is beside the shop with full hook ups if needed. For those who may be traveling in a group, we can consider additional RV's but they would not have full hook up etc. Added units may be able to have 15 amp power and access to water etc but not full hook up. Additional parking is not an issue. We do have a small 80 acre lake that you could sit in the park and enjoy the view but access is for residents only. We are 5 minutes from the very popular big lake, Lake Conroe.
We are easy going and Boondockers ourselves. Adults know what is expected. Be reasonably quiet, especially at night. Pick up after yourself. Leave it like you found it. We have a sizeable covered deck with grills, fire ring furniture, TV and WIFI etc. You are welcome to have a campfire but will need to bring your own firewood.
The small paved road as you enter the subdivision is a bit narrow but more than adequate. There are no sharp curves or low hanging branches. Turning around should not be an issue
We are situated on the end of a sizeable road as well as nearly 2 acres of land so there is plenty of tow vehicle parking both on pavement or on the yard
If it is not blocked out, it is available
Lake Conroe. It is also highly probable that you will see the deer that roam through the property.
I stayed two nights at Huck's place. It is a really quiet and safe location. I loved the RV site. It really has full hookups. I only used the dump and water, it worked out great for me. Hosts were busy so we didn't get to spend much time, but they both seemed like very nice and welcoming people. I love Texas hospitality. Thank you for the great stay!
We had a great stay with our Hosts and their neighbors. It is sort of like we just temporarily joined the neighborhood.
We certainly had a warm welcome. Parking was super simple. Having spotted the lake on the way in, we asked permission to use our kayak. It is a private lake, so permission is required. Due to rain, we didn’t actually launch the kayak, but we did walk the lake road and did the bicycle loop, too.
Not all guests will be lucky to arrive at time of year for a few items fresh from the garden. You know, vegetables that taste like real vegetables, not grown in a green house. So, we are now supercharged with those fresh micronutrients.
Thanks so much for letting us stay.
Wow, can't wait till we can come back for a longer stay. Beautiful place and location, and the host was very friendly. Too bad his wife was ill and could not get together with them as a couple. Next time !
E & S met us on arrival and welcomed us to their beautiful peaceful property. We were offered a FHU site. A convenient safe place to stay while visiting friends in Houston for the day. Thanks again for the warm hospitality!
Beautiful piece of property that was away from traffic noise. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating, even offering an outdoor patio area for relaxing. Would definitely come back!
Hideaway lane was a gift in our travels. The hosts were very kind and generous. My husband and I enjoyed the outdoor space they provide which allowed us some time out of our rig in the evenings while our son slept. I would recommend this place to anyone either driving through or looking for a little rest in their travels.
What a beautiful place to stay. Hosts were very accommodating. Will definitely stay again.
