What a warm welcome, we could choose to stay near the garage or drive a little bit further down a narrow path that leads to the lake. We chose the lakeside, what a breathtaking place. The weather helped, so we could dive into the lake. We were invited to exchange melodies on the accordeon. Well, if it was a competition, our host won! Luckily it was not a competition and we had a wonderful evening making music and singing along. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful place with us!

Beautiful little overnight spot to wake up next to a lake. Very friendly host. Right next to a holiday cottage so not best for people with small children as they will want to wander onto the private jetty and beach wish isnt fair on the paying guests.

What a great spot As the name says a beautiful view of Mapel Lake Lawrence and Marie were very friendly hosts Nice spots to camp Our rig was too high to make it to the lakeside spot but our spot by the house was nestled in the mature trees Easy access off of the highway A definte stop if in the area Thanks Enjoy

You won’t meet friendlier folks than Lawrence and Maria. We were warmly welcomed and shown where to set up near the water. Woke up in time to watch the morning mist rising from the surface of the lake. Beautiful.

We had a lovely time. Lawrence and Maria were very kind and helpfull. The spot at the lake is very nice and easy to get to with our rental camper (25 ft). It was also nice to speak some dutch with Lawrence and Maria , so it felt instantly like home :-).
