This is a mobile home neighborhood but with larger lots and some conventional homes. Note: This is a neighborhood and not a State Park. Its just a spot for you to park if you are passing through, not a scenic vacation spot.
Its located on the outer city limits of San Antonio ( north Bexar county ).
25 min to downtown San Antonio ,10 min. to the little town of Bulverde and the beginning of the Texas Hill Country.
Dogs must be on a leash. No loud music. Keep clean. No open fires, BBQ pits are fine. Dont get drunk and get stupid, I will ask you to leave.
I just ask you to be respectful.
Neighborhood roads are paved. Driveway is gravel where you will be parked.
If you come here from Hwy 281 and turn onto Borgfeld Dr., there is a steep hill. You can bypass this hill if you take Bulverde Road to Borgfeld Dr.
Tow vehicle can be parked on the property

Nice location, gracious host. Very welcoming. Water and extension cord if needed. Close to level, but not quite. We didn't bother to level off because it was close enough.
We would stay again, all positive.
Great stay. Quiet neighborhood. He is friendly and very helpful. Enjoyed visiting with him after he'd come home from work. Thank you again for having us.
Stopping at Ray’s made my trip to San Antonio much easier. He was very accommodating and allowed for a great stay. Definitely recommend if you need a spot in the area. Just far enough from the craziness of the city.
Loved staying at Ray's home about 25 miles north of downtown San Antonio! Lots of room and blazing fast internet! I had been boondocking in the desert for a few weeks and he let me wash my 35' motorhome (with a grip nozzle so there wasn't a lake of water below). I made him a spaghetti dinner we ate outside. He's a genuinely nice guy. There's a slight slope to the street so you might need a couple extra blocks for your stabilizer jacks or front tires if you back in. I'd definitely stay here again.
Ray was a wonderful host. He greeted us when we arrived, showed us where to park and gave us some suggestions for things to see and do in the area. We went to the Alamo and river walk which are both a must see and an easy drive from Ray’s place. If we are in the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to book another stop here. Thanks!!!
Wonderful stay at this host location!
I had everything I could need, and it was a great jumping off spot! Would love to stay here again.
Was an amazing host and made sure I was happy with my stay there. Would stay again for sure!!
We stayed two nights, it gave us a perfect jumping off spot for touring the sights of San Antonio! Our host was so hospitable and helpful we would gladly stay again.
We really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood wonderful hospitality! We were close enough to downtown San Antonio to see and do all we wanted but far enough from the big city to feel safe.
