Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostOur place may not be a destination, but certainly a place weary travelers are welcome to stop off, enjoy the local sites, rest and continue with your RV adventures. We have several acres adjacent to a busy highway. Most parking areas are graveled but not necessarily level. Guests are welcome to leave their RV and explore the area in their toad or just stop for the night. We will greet you when you arrive and you may not see us thereafter, we assume you are here to enjoy the sites or for a rest, not to visit with hosts. If we are available and you would like to get together we would enjoy the visit. We are available if you have needs or questions/concerns. There is water available if needed. It can be dusty in the summer. Parking only available until the snow starts to fall, usually late October or early November.
Pets on leash only. Please clean up after them.
No open fires.
No smoking, drugs or loud gatherings on property.
Generators ok from 6 am to 10 pm
No garbage service. Please haul your garbage with you.
Guests need to arrive before dark as there are no lights on the property.
We ask that you respect our property and our neighbors.
We do request that you let us know when you are ready to leave.
Our place is right off the highway with a short gravel access road. There is plenty of room to turn around.
Tow vehicle can stay attached to your RV or parked beside it.
We like to travel as well therefore property may not be available if we are away.
We are within 25 miles of Crater Lake National Park and Diamond Lake. There are several hiking trails and waterfalls within driving distance. The night skies are amazing here (very little light pollution). Klamath Marsh approx 20-25 miles south east for bird watchers. We do provide guests with an information sheet of local sites upon your arrival.
Great communication and directions prior to getting there. Host met us at the gate. Very friendly and easy going. Great location for exploring Crater Lake and Diamond Lake and several waterfalls. Host provided a very useful list of local area attractions plus useful info like where the closest gas stations are. Offered amenities like water which was lovely. We ALL (adults, kids and dogs) loved the property and the room we had to explore and just breathe. Beautiful property. Although RV sites are close to the main road we didn’t feel like we had a lot of road noise. Very caring hosts too - checked in on us after a night that dipped well below freezing. We appreciated the stay!
Great location for waking up and getting on the road to Crater Lake Sights! Basic dirt lot off highway with a few spots to tuck into the trees to park. Host was very friendly and helpful. Thanks!
The husband came to meet us even though we got in a little later than expected and showed us where to park, the wife was super nice and accommodating and gave us some great tips about the area. Highly recommend.
The hosts were very kind and welcoming. Great spot with room for the kids to stretch their legs- near Diamond Lake and Crater Lake! Bonus, ATT cell service was lightening fast!
These hosts were friendly and accommodating, and patient with our delayed arrival. They offered local tips and even offered to let us stay until next week since the weather prevented a clear view of Crater Lake. Great generous and hospitable folks.
We were able to get a very quick confirmation and they were very patient with our unpredictable itinerary.
What a great spot to stay for a night or two. We were in the are to see Crater Lake and it wasn’t too far away. Great communication, super friendly host and large area big enough to fit really any size rig. Suites us perfect. They even hand suggestions for the area which were appreciated!
If in the area would definitely stay again.👍
Wide selection of places to park and friendly host! Thoroughly enjoyed Crater Lake! Thank you for the stay!!
We have never had a bad stay with Boondockers Welcome, and DLJ Stop Off was no exception. The property had many choices of locations and plenty of trees. Our hosts provided us with a list of local attractions and we made use of it for dinner at the Mohawk Restaurant. We also went to Crater Lake National Park and Ziplines while we were here. Thank you for a lovely stay in a perfect location.
After a long day of driving obstacles, with forest fire detours, fatal accidents on the road, and driving a hundred plus miles out of the way, we arrive to this easy to pull off location! She greeted us with her cattle dog in the driveway, showed us where we could park. We chose a place in the trees for shade... we headed out early so that was it, easy in easy out! THANK YOU!
Perfect spot to pull in, get some sleep, and spend the next day at Crater Lake National Park. It seemed like there were lots of other hikes nearby as well! The hosts were very friendly and drove us around their property so we could find a perfect spot for our two-night stay. They graciously allowed us to fill up our water tank on our way out! ATT service was excellent as well and we were allowed to use our generator until 10pm... mornings and evenings were cool!
This was a great site to be able to visit Crater Lake for a day. The host met us at our rig, introduced us to the property dog and gave us a print out with great local information. Also drove husband around so we could see our many choices for parking. We tucked away in the trees and watched the chipmunks frolic in the sun as we drank our morning coffee! Good spot. Thank you!
Had a lovely stay here while visiting Crater Lake. Very peaceful even though close to highway 97. Hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stop here again next time through!
I very much enjoyed a quick overnight visit.
The BJ & TJ are terrific Hosts that did everything they could to make my visit comfortable.
