My family and I stayed at host's property for a little over a week. Hosts took us on a golf cart ride through apple orchard and showed us how to teepee a fire. We had fun times here, definitely will return when in area!
Very nice hosts! We only stayed one night as we were just travelling through, but we had a great rest and good night's sleep, very quiet area. We hiked in Cuyahoga valley NP before we got there, not too far away. Thanks again for your hospitality! Hope you make it to our place in Michigan someday!
A big thank you to our hosts RC & K for offering us a conveniently located site to visit both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Football Hall of Fame. Their property is pretty much right in the middle of both venues. We spent 3 quiet and peaceful nights. We were able to hook into his electric and water as our water pump had recently quit on us. Our hosts invited us to a campfire and golf cart ride through the orchard, but after long busy days we had to decline. We had some great conversations though! Their kids B & K are really cute as is their dog Oakley and we enjoyed getting to know their little family. RC gave us a peek inside his "work in progress"... a former FedEx truck that he's renovating into an RV to go out on the road in the future. Thanks again RC & K for a wonderful stay. We wish you all the best and hope you enjoy boondocking as much as we do!
We were headed towards Cuyahoga National Park in the middle of a huge storm. Although his regular location was flooded, he accepted our request to stay and let us park in his driveway. Really helped us out.
Our host communication was excellent and he was very accommodating when our big rig wouldn’t fit in the spot he had designated. They provided another spot that was right next to the pond. It was peaceful and the Verizon and T mobile signals were good. Very nice family. :)
Learned how to golf cart trail ride. Meeting great neighbors of the Host. Could have stayed longer, but had to hit the trail. Host helped me fix my truck, wonderful family, enjoyed our stay.
Would stop back again.
These are some of the friendliest hosts we've ever had. They made us feel at home instantly. He met us as we arrived and showed us where to park...very level grassy area. Helped us get set up with electric and to fill our water. Electric was on a long extension cord which he had provided. They showed us their adorable tiny house on wheels they renovated. They have kids and allowed our kids to play on all their play equipment. Our boys absolutely loved playing with their daughter.
They built a fire first night we were there and even took us on some golf cart rides to the orchard next door.
They are also close enough to Cleveland to spend a day there, which we did.
But we came home to no power. We did have issues with it tripping several times that morning but we (and they) thought it was resolved. It was hot enough that we did need to run the AC since we left our dog home that day.
We reluctantly decided to cut our visit short and head to a campground since we knew we would need AC for next few days.
We would absolutely return for a visit with these hosts if they would have us. In slightly cooler weather...lol
Thanks for being great hosts you guys and tell B we say hi.
RC and Kirsty were delightful hosts! They gave us electricity do our AC would work! They taught us a new card game, too! RC was very willing to lend us tools, help out with our broken awning and even plugged one of our tires that had picked up a screw.
