Paved road to our property. Camping area is all cinders.
Large camping area. Parking on site

How can one describe adequately describe this place?
The hosts... FANTASTIC, FRIENDLY, FUN!
The location...IDEAL, EASY TO FIND, BEAUTIFUL
I will be back! 😍
I’m a little late with this review, but we so enjoyed our time here! The hosts were so gracious to let us in late after some hiccups on our drive. The views are amazing, the site is quiet and easy in/out and Flagstaff is a fun town to hang out in. Our stay was short but we enjoyed getting to know the hosts who shared a bit of the history of their site as well as their many unique chickens. Such a fun, easy going couple, we highly recommend a stop here!
Absolutely loved my stay here. The location is beautiful, has everything you would need for a comfortable stay, and incredible hosts! I felt like I was staying with family and enjoyed getting to hang out at the end of the day! The hosts went out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect and treated me like one of their own. Don’t forget to check out the lava tube cave nearby! Can’t wait to see you guys again!
I'm not sure if our first stay with "Boondockers Welcome" could ever beat the one we had at "Route 66's Highest Point"! We were so impressed with the stunning setting, the amazing views, the facilities, and the pride and care that our hosts took in their home and surrounding property. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and having the opportunity to meet two wonderful hosts! Thank you!
We really enjoy their property and their hospitality. Such nice folks. Looking forward to our next visit!
We arrived at "Oma's Acre" and were awestruck with how beautiful the location was surrounded by mountains, trees and that fresh Arizona mountain air. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful and while the wind was a bit strong we were able to get out and explore the area. The highlight for us was getting up at dawn (still on east coast time) and watching the sunrise come over the mountains. We definitely recommend staying here, and taking the chance to experience the peace and quiet. Thanks for the great spot!
PS - my wife loved watching all the birds and the hosts chickens!
The communication was the fastest ever. I think it took 5 minutes from request to accepted. The host spot is on an amazing piece of land in between Kaibob and Coconino National Forests , on the old Route 66. Their spot is so good, we saw dispersed campers on the way to our luxe spot. The hosts are fun to chat with and the chickens, roosters and ducks are hilarious to watch. Buy some eggs too! Another opportunity to meet new friends. Excedllent!
Thank You for your welcome, conversation and quiet location and star-studded skies!
A perfectly lovely spot, with a plug in - what a bonus! Others mentioned lack of cell service. With a Weboost, Verizon hot spot did well enough to teleconference. T-mobile a bit slow but usable. ATT not so much. Remember water is at a premium in this neck of the woods, so fill your tank before arrival. We found Fort Tuthill to be the best price for fill and dump. Host very responsive via text. We would totally stay here again.
We rolled in at the end of a long day of travel, and our hosts met us at the gate. They are probably the most accommodating and friendliest hosts we’ve ever encountered! Great set up in their large cinder lot at their beautiful farm. They know so much history of the area; most interesting fact was that old Route 66 wound through their property! We slept great and never heard their roosters. It was a delightful stay; we would surely stay again if we were in the area and we most highly recommend!
Beautiful setting and easy setup and connection to electricity. Nice level area for parking. The night sky was amazing.
Highest Point was a great 2 night stay for us. The parking area is very nice with convenient access to power choices. The gazebo is lovely and a power hook up there is a very thoughtful addition. The property has interesting history. The hosts were welcoming and considerate. We very much enjoyed conversing with them.
PCx2 are great hosts. We were greeted at the gate, shown where to park and then had a nice visit with our hostess learning about their property and the surrounding forest. Beautiful view, very quiet and easy to find. Make sure to call ahead for directions.
The hosts are gracious and accommodation. The spot is beautiful, secluded and quiet. 50A, 30A and 15A with easy access. Weak Verizon and T-Mobile but picked up 2 miles back to the highway.
This was our first BW stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the company and conversation of our hosts. Parking our rig was effortless. 50 amp connection was a bonus, and we enjoyed morning coffee under the gazebo. We have high hopes for our BW stays, and this stay set the bar quite high.
Hosts are really friendly and welcoming. Parking area is wide open and very convenient. Be sure to follow host's recommendation about where to get off the freeway to avoid a bumpy dirt road.
Easy level location surrey beautiful views. Hosts are wonderful people and have a lot to teach about the history of the location. We appreciated their hospitality and would love to stay here again!
Truly enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend. Beautiful setting, fantastic hosts. Thank you very much and hope to see you again!
Beautiful spot, convenient location but quiet and off the beaten path which we love! Wide open scenic space. Great hosts, enjoyed our short visit with them. Hope to visit again!
Thank You for having us, We Totally enjoyed our stay, wish it could have been longer.
We'll See you the next time we come this way!
Thank You for your hospitality.
We had a wonderful, albeit quick, stay at Route 66’s Highest Point!
We were greeted by the Host couple and their adorable dachshund, and ushered into our spot for the night.
We had some fun conversation, wished we had time for more.
We will look forward to visiting again, when we can spend more time visiting and seeing the area.
We were cheerfully welcomed by our hosts who gave us an interesting history of their property and made us feel at home. Their property was beautiful and the RV site was private and extremely well taken care. It was a relaxing place to come home to after our daily adventures. Our hosts gave us a warm send off when we left. Will definitely make a point of returning the next time we are driving through.
Very calm and peaceful..! Easy access and very spacious. Friendly and very responsive host.
Unfortunately we had to leave earlier than expected as we did not get strong signals at the location (T-mobile or Verizon), but got very strong signal (T-mobile) just about a mile away, where we spent the whole day working :)
Would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed meeting our hosts and the spot is absolutely lovely. It was quite cold but we enjoyed the view from our trailer and will try to come back when it is warmer so we can enjoy the outdoors. Thankyou for a stress free stay.
We completely enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very warm and inviting, and we felt completely at ease with them while staying on their beautiful property! The site is well thought out and easy to access. Having electric hookups was a big plus since it was cold at night. The location is perfect for visiting the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, and Sedona. This was our first Boondocker's Welcome stay, and it was an all around great experience!
Occasionally in life you meet folks and it is just great the moment you meet. ..those are always moments to make you smile as you look back. Our host at this stay where kind to share great places to see, kind to also share there time and resources of thier farm. We are grateful to have meet them.
Thank you both, we hope our paths cross again.
We stayed to ride OHV trails in the area and to visit the Grand Canyon. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. It is a beautiful place and very quiet. Only problem was the cinder rock cut up my dogs feet. We will stay again but now we have boots to put on the dog. :-)
So brief but perfect hosts! Wide open and level, attractive setting.
Great property, very helpful and incredibly gracious hosts. We'll definitely be back, Thank you!
Host PCX2, Is an amazing couple. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting them and staying on their property. The camping area is a nice big gravel lot with electricity available. It's up in the mountains near Flagstaff with a gorgeous view of 2 mountain peaks that were snow-capped when we were there. There's also a cute gazebo and sitting area right near the camping area. We would love to come back again, as this was a great experience for us.
We had a lovely stay on old route 66s highest point! Some cool history that our hosts told us about while chatting. Very nice people and our son loved seeing the chickens! Spot has good cell service and is a perfectly level gravel spot. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!
They we're so kind and welcoming! This was our first stay with Boondockers Welcome and wow what a perfect model host! They were amazing, the property is amazing, and they're so close to all the good stuff!
Wonderful welcoming couple! I was grateful for their hospitality. My boys were able to get out and run around after a long day of driving. Wish we could have stayed longer the area is beautiful. I got up early and took my boys to see sunrise at the grand canyon.
Pcx2 were amazing and kind hosts. Their property is gorgeous with Mountain View’s, chickens & ducks, and lots of pastured area. The 30 & 50 amp hookups were a great bonus. There is a huge graveled and level area for any size RV. It could not have been a better experience. We look forward to returning when the weather is a little warmer. We went to the Grand Canyon during our stay which was an hour away, north. Highly recommend staying here!
This was a Beautiful location with huge level area to park our fifth wheel & truck. All electric options right there at our site. Host was very helpful & friendly. Would definitely enjoy staying there again .
Amazing hosts, location, everything! This was our first time staying with a host through Boondockers Welcome and it was fantastic. The hosts were so kind and fun to talk to, very interesting people with a beautiful property! We had plenty of privacy but felt secure, and having electric hookups was great. Thank you to our lovely hosts, we hope to see you again!
Awesome hosts. Kind, flexible, welcoming. Sunsets were grand. Spot easy to navigate, flat gravel. Great access to exploring the beauty of the area.
I am forever grateful for the adventure I have had so far in 2020. Meeting incredible souls who still feel human kindness is the key to a better world.
This couple is the perfect example of this! I will be back, even if it's saying hello and thank them again for their kindness and for making me feel so at home. I have regained some hope for what lies ahead for the state of the world.
What a beautiful backdrop and a labor of love they have created and choose to share with others.
Perfect set-up, perfect hosts! Level, spacious, private, easy in & out. And Flagstaff is a fascinating place to explore. Their acre is right on the border with Coconino Nat Forest. Great!
Very easy to find, Paul was waiting for us at the gate. Beautiful property and very quiet. Paul was a wonderful host. Paul was very informative. Our beagles were allowed off leash since they didn't care about chickens. We were not going to use the electric hookup but since we don't have solar yet and it was supposed to get pretty cold we ended up hooking to it. The property as level ground and is bordered by National Forest. We definitely would stay there again.
PCx2 are great host! They are located in a great place to explore Flagstaff and surrounding area. We enjoyed our day trips to Sunset Crater and surrounding area as well as the Grand Canyon South Rim. If you enjoy hiking this is a great area. Next trip we will plan trip to Lowell Observatory.
Definitely recommend this as a Boondockers spot!
Host gave us fair warning about October weather at "The Highest Point on Route 66" as well as the incoming bleak forecast during our scheduled stay.
We braved it and glad we did!
We arrived at the secluded, immaculately maintained acre embedded with the hosts' uncovered history and ancestry personalization -- 7400 feet up -- on a warm sunny day. It got cooler as the wind kicked up and the sun began its decline. We enjoyed a fantastic hour's worth of life-and-times conversation with our host couple before we all acknowledged it was time to seek shelter. Spent the next 50-degree windy day hunkered down in our own tiny house on wheels, watching a glorious parade of clouds and reading books together rather than exploring nearby Flagstaff as originally planned. Temps dropped further that night. We woke to a beautiful dusting of snow and layers of ice on our awnings. Wind chill registered 12 degrees. We donned winter coats and gloves, hooked up the tow, captured one last picture of our host and dachshund who'd come out to see us off, and drove down down down the mountain range on our journey west.
Great stay! We hope to come back in the spring... which we've been forewarned may be cold again. 🧤🧣🧥 That's ok; we'll be ready!
Quiet setting, beautiful views, gazebo, electric hookups. Only about 1 hour from Grand Canyon. There are tons of off-road trails if you have a side by side or other off-road vehicle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will return again to do some more trail riding.
Was going to run a few Jeep trails in Sedona on our way east but didnt want to drive RV down the hill and back up. So found this awesome Host and was able to leave RV there while we drove Jeep down for the day.
Large cinder lot with plenty of space to turn, if needed. Great hosts, who have lots of information about the area. Grand Canyon was a little over an hour away. Williams is a neat little town on Route 66 with lots of shops & great pie(Pine Country Restaurant) Will definitely return when in the area!
Our hosts are super warm and friendly, letting the kiddos visit the chickens and ducks. The property is beautiful and tranquil. They are well informed on Flagstaff and Route 66 and we had a wonderful stay. We will be back!
Wish I could have shared the view and the company with my wife. Wonderful couple - great place!
This was our first experience with Boondockers Welcome and it was more than we could have asked for! The area for RVs is spacious, private from their personal residence and built with any kind of electric you could need! They were both so warm and welcoming to us. And there location is so close to so many places to explore and adventure. Just like previous reviews stated - the bar is set high now!
We had a great time at this boondockers welcome space. Very welcoming hosts. Enjoyed their company and will definitely plan to be back. Lots of room quiet secluded, beautiful area. Very convenient to Flaggstaff without feeling like you are near the city. Thank you so much for having us!
pcx2 has created a Boondocker's heaven - quiet, beautiful setting, easy access and wide open, level, parking area with electrical hookups if you need them. The deer parade is nice, too.
We felt so welcome from the first minute we arrived. The conversation was uplifting and filled with laughter - and a few tears as we realized we've walked in the same paths in life's chapters. Within minutes, I felt like I've known them for a lifetime! Can't wait to pass that way again!
An absolutely beautiful setting with great views. The site is so peaceful. The accessibility for RV's is second to none.
The hosts are warm and welcoming. They are perhaps the nicest people you will ever meet.
We gained two new friends.
Thanks for a phenomenal stay.
The owner are wonderful hosts. They are so welcoming and fun. The view there is spectacular with huge meadows and the horizon is surrounded with beautiful pine trees. Parking the rig right next to a beautiful gazebo on a huge cinder gravel area. We plan to come back and enjoyed our time to visit with them.
Our first stay with Boondockers Welcome and welcomed is exactly how we were greeted.
Friendly, helpful hosts, beautiful property and perfect location. This will be our go to stop when traveling I-40 near Flagstaff.
Amazing site! Amazing hosts! The stay here was everything you could want from a Boondocker's Welcome experience. Good conversation with good people and a wonderful evening for my entire family. Thank you pcx2 for sharing your place and your story with us. Thank you for your service to our country and helping to provide the freedom we take for granted every day.
The hosts were very nice and their property is gorgeous. We enjoyed our stay and would have liked to have spent some time with the owners. Maybe on the way back if the virus is under control. We have a 41 foot motorhome towing a F-150. The entry to the property was a bit tight for us and we had to unhook and drive In separately. No big deal.
Wonderful stay and great hosts. I enjoyed the view, the conversation, and the peace and quiet.
Great, super friendly and helpful hosts. Gorgeous site. Our first BW stay, so the bar has been set awfully high! Really couldn’t have been better. Good luck with your new garage and everything going forward.
We want to start off by saying that this was our first boondockers welcome stay, and we have to say it was the most unique and pleasurable experience we could have ever asked for! To start, the drive in to their property is absolutely breathtaking. When we arrived, Trish met us at the gate on her fun off-road vehicle. Right away, she greeted us with a smile and great conversation before we even parked our RV. Once we finished unhitching the RV, she met us with another big smile asking if I, "Kiren" wanted to go meet all the chickens and ducks! That was super fun and she gave us a low down on the history of the property, which as it were, "IS" actual americana history:D
They let us explore the property and go where ever we wanted, which was very nice. The foresty look and the view of the mountains was a sight to behold.
Paul and Trish were so kind to invite us to have some drinks by the fire, and we had fantastic conversation and enjoyed the weather, which was in the high 40s the two nights we were there. Every day was just perfect weather, from morning to evening. A really cool plus, is it is a dark sky zone so there are no street lights and the stars blanketed the sky at night when we came outside. We even saw shooting starssssss. AHHH!
WE cannot begin to overstate the genuineness and kindheartedness that they both displayed during our stay. Their hospitality was second to none!!!
I, "Cameron" offered to make breakfast for all of us the day we were heading out, but unfortunately I was struck with quite an intense headache. They went above and beyond to come check on me at the RV and offered to make breakfast for all of us instead:) That topped off the end of an EXTREMELY AMAZING weekend and we wish we could write every detail down. We definitely recommend Oma's Acre to everyone without hesitation and hope each and everyone enjoys their stay as much as we did!!!
We had an amazing time staying with pcx2.
They have a wonderful home/property and we were lucky enough to stay a few extra days in this beautiful place.
The location is amazing and the camping location is like you're on another piece of property........which isn't to say that we didn't have a great chance to socialize with these great folks!
We feel like we've made friends for life, that's just the kind of people they are. Thanks so much for having us we can't wait to see you guys again!!
The owners are wonderful folks. We came in late. They waited at the end of their drive to make sure we didn't miss it. Guided us to or spot. Quiet and serene. Well be back!
Wonderful stay and great hosts. I enjoyed the view, the conversation, and the peace and quiet just outside of Flagstaff.
