Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostLeelanau county with many lakes and rivers. Lots of outdoor activites. Note the picture on the host site is about 15 miles west of host site. Site is in a wooded area.
No camp fires at this time.
No discharge of firearms.
No trash disposal available.
Quiet time after 10pm.
Half mile down gravel road. Large rigs could turn around but would probably have difficulty because of tight corners. It would probably be best if the trailer and tow were less than 50 feet combined.
Close to site.

On top of a lovely wooded quiet campsite in the Leelanau, I had the magic of a musical evening arranged in less than 24 hours. Paul learned about my fiddle, called over a guitarist and fiddler, and we had a jam on the deck. It was a crisp night, but the children and Mama joined us wrapped in blankets. What memorable fun! So many interests, fishing and handcrafted canoes and so much more. Thank you!
P has several great locations for people to park on his property. He is a friendly, interesting and hospitable host. We stayed two nights and enjoyed being in a central location to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear. We look forward to popping by again.
What a kind and gentle place to be, really enjoyed this family. Lots of privacy and a nice visit too when I stopped by the house. The Leelanau is a wonderful place to wander and this was a great base. Good Harbor Bay to the north is a quieter beach than some of the tourist areas. Do bring a map either offline or paper. GPS gets uncertain towards your arrival point. But I had okay phone and internet at the site
Wonderful stay near Traverse City & Leelanau area. Off the beaten path-but we prefer that. Several parking options. Road was well maintained and just enough turn around room for our 27’ rig (we do have 4WD). P was very friendly, helpful, and I would highly recommend this spot.
We wanted to visit Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore and some of the other sites in the area and this place was the perfect location. There was plenty of room to park, it was completely quiet, and our host was welcoming and friendly. We would definitely recommend a stay here if you are in the area.
Our host was a really interesting guy and very hospitable. He offered us a local map for our stay. His spot is quite remote and it is good to call for directions for the last couple of turns because the GPS does not do it correctly. He is very responsive to messages and calls.
Sleepy Hollow was tucked back in a wooded area, very peaceful and quiet place to spend the night. The stars shone brightly at night here. It's located close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and near to the quaint town of Glen Arbor and there is plenty of hiking, biking, kayaking and many sites to see. Our host was very accommodating and we enjoyed our shared conversations.
Very accommodating and friendly host. His property was being logged so he took my husband around in his truck to show him some sites to choose from. He even came to check on us later that evening to make sure everything was okay. Quiet and peaceful setting.
This was our first BW experience. It sets the tone for positive experiences to come.
P is a very accommodating host and allowed us to stay extra days if we wanted. Thanks so much!
Our host was very accommodating and there were a couple nice wooded spots for us to pull up our trailer. He was very helpful and full of information. A really interesting guy!
