Location

Long straight driveway. Smaller rigs (not towing) can usually pull straight in and then do a three to five point turn-around to back down into the parking area. If you are towing a vehicle, there are several options for your arrival. One; you could pull straight in, unhitch, then do a multi-point turn to back into the space. Two; you could unhitch before your arrival, then back your RV into the driveway from the street. Please, when you back up, always have your spotter helping you navigate. For any rigs towing an RV, you will need to back in from the street with your helper. It's not normally too busy, but you will need that second person to direct you and traffic while you back up.

We are George and Susan Whittaker and we have 5 children; 15 grand, and 4 greats. Our kids and their families live in California, Florida, and here in Pennsylvania. We've named our two-acre ex-farmette (without animals) "Whit Acres". This is our future retirement home. Susan is a very talented; seamstress, quilter, woodworker & all around, crafter. George is also a woodworker, Home Improvement Contractor & Laser Engraver. See JustLetGeorgeDoIt.com for details. George also runs our RV Rental business. See GwRvRentals.com for more information. Our home is about a mile off state Rt 100 in north-western Montgomery County, Pottstown, PA. Our Motorhome is a 32 ft. Sunseeker, Class C we call 'ROVER' and we tow 'MY TOAD', a Silver Mini Cooper. When we are not using the RV, it is often rented out. Home Town: Pottstown spans two counties; Chester and Montgomery County. Montgomery is the county we live in. Pottstown has been home for us, for most of the time, between 1985 and now. We are about a half-hour from the Spring Mount Ski Resort so winter skiing is here and easily accessible. Going west, we are about 45 minutes from Lancaster County (Amish horse and buggy land). Also about an hour north of the Delaware state line. The Poconos are very close; about an hour's drive. About a half-hour to Valley Forge and an hour to downtown Philadelphia. ELECTRIC - PLEASE NOTE: We have a 15 amp electrical circuit available - with YOUR extension cord of about 100 ft. Air Conditioners and space heaters will probably trip the circuit breaker, but it keeps the lights on and your batteries charged. For multiple-night stays, we ask for a $10 per night (for all nights) donation for electric-hookup in advance on the first day of your stay. Free for any ONE-night stay ONLY. Free water is available with YOUR a 100 Ft. hose for your fresh water tank refilling only.

We met George and he helped guide our 36 ft class A into a tight turnaround and into the back down but all worked out nice and quiet Thanks for the "storyboard" idea. I happened to have some PVC on the rig for a different purpose so i marked it up for the slide outs. Thanks

George and Susan were very welcoming and flexible. The spot is quiet and beautiful and near stores and highways. Parking involves a long back up with a longer travel trailer.

George and Susan treated us like special guests. They came out and talked with us, helped us back into the driveway and allowed us to use their water. They let the kids play in their yard and with their dog. The stay was peaceful and enjoyable.

Wonderfully tucked away but near everything, offers a quiet and peaceful spot to rest and recharge, with a bonus little guest patio to enjoy your green surroundings! Just a very slight slope to the parking area. Very nice stay after a long touring day.
