We are located in southeast NC, approximately 15-20 miles from area beaches. Our location is very "country" with lots of wildlife (deer, fox, rabbits, birds, etc...) roaming about. It is very quiet in the evenings and overnight (the only thing you might here is your generator). We have a fire pit and when able we would be happy to host a night around the fire. We are pet friendly but request that dogs be on a leash or tie-out. We expect guests to pickup pet "litter".
Dogs should be on leash or tie-out, please properly dispose of pet waste
Use of fire-pit only with host (when available)
Use of pool only with host (when available)
Access to 30 amp electric and WiFi may be limited
Fresh water tank fill available upon request
***DUE TO ABOVE NORMAL RAINS OUR HOSTING ABILITY IS LIMITED AT THIS TIME***
Our 3.5 acre property is flat and well drained (under most circumstances) but we have a gravel driveway with a somewhat narrow access with the paved state road that serves our property. Longer RVs may have some concerns with making the 90 degree turn off the pavement to our drive. However, once on the property we have ample room for smaller rigs to pull up and park with pull-through departure. 30'+ rigs will need to back up, but the area to back up into is wide, flat, and firm ground.
In most cases there should be no need to disconnect trailers from tow vehicles. If a guest chooses to do so, there is ample room for all vehicles.
Local Atlantic Ocean beaches are Holden Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Sunset Beach (15-20 miles away with public access at each beach). We are also located approximately 45 miles from Wilmington, NC and 40 miles from Myrtle Beach, SC
We had such a great stay booked for 2 night but ended up staying for 3! Great location we went to Wilmington & beaches .. if you stay or come close to this area make sure you go to sunset beach !! There’s a mail box there that can help your soul!! Thank you so much for letting us stay at your wonderful house .. very level and quiet with an amazing breeze! We will definitely be back again if in the area!!! Have a blessed day
Very nice couple. The weather wasn't the greatest while we were there. Would definetly recommend. 🙂
This place really hit a sweet spot – lovely property and a warm welcome from our hosts. 30-amp hookup was nice and there was plenty of room to turn around. Loved the big sky for stargazing, though the chilly temps didn't let us stay out too long. Highly recommend this idyllic place!
We thank you so much for allowing us to stay at Someday Lane and chatting with you.
This was absolutely a wonderful stay with very pleasant and friendly people at Someday Lane. We enjoyed chatting and sharing RVing stories of adventure. Very helpful and interesting hosts. Thank goodness they supplied us with electric on the cold nights! I loved hearing the wildlife in the area.
We highly recommend a boondocking stay at Someday Lane. Beautiful country stay! Along with wonderful people.
I want to thank you for letting us stay we enjoyed our stay thanks for the great cookies too
Thanks so much for sharing your piece of Carolina heaven with us. It was great meeting you both and sharing your electricity with us on this chilly night. We hope you would consider having us again. Safe travels yourself. B&D
Great Boondockers Welcome location. Easy access, level parking for about
any size rig. 3 point turn is required to face the right direction, but it was not difficult. They offered water and 15 amp electric. Close to beaches and shopping. Cell service was spotty, but ok with our cell booster. They did offer wifi, but it was slow where we were parked.
The hosts were very friendly, an amazing family. Our first night they
had a fire in their backyard and invited us to join them. A lot of laughs were had and friendships were made. The second night they invited for an oyster feast. It was amazing.
We would definitely recommend this location, and will be back when in
Beautiful property great hosts. Quiet , dark. We had no problem pulling in and turning around with our 40 toy hauler. Plenty of roon for slides.
Very easy to get to with lots of space to navigate a rig. The electrical hookup was a blessing as we were traveling with pets. The dog loved the big grassy yard. We had some great conversations with the host who gave us insight into the area. We took a 20 minute drive down to the beach and grabbed dinner in town nearby. It was very quiet at night. We are grateful to our generous hosts for having us on a holiday weekend.
This was our first experience with Boondockers welcome. Beautiful property had 30 amp hook up WiFi plenty of room, host was very nice! Met us and got us settled for the night. I would highly recommend staying here! Wonder experience!
The hosts were fantastic!! Someday Lane is an easy in/out, close to several beaches but still a bit in the country, and we had a great time hanging out with the hosts. We were greeted with brownies, and a warm welcome. We highly recommend Someday Lane!!
