A big thank you to our hosts! Quiet and relaxing. Plenty of room for our 33ft trailer. Instructions from Craig excellent. This was a good base for us to explore the area for a couple of days. The town of Lititz is charming. The area is beautiful.
This was a quick one night stay for us and fit the bill well. We were traveling in a 40’ motorhome pulling a car on dolly and we managed to navigate the space ok. Super quiet and level spot. We did not use electric so can’t speak for that. Also did not see hosts but appreciate their generosity in letting us use their driveway! 👍
Water & electric was closely available for me to use and the area was pretty quiet overall. I enjoyed my stay here.
We enjoyed our stay yet again at Nothing Fancy. We enjoyed sharing with such wonderful folks. We need to go back and take in the town a little more. There’s a lot there we need to explore. Keep fighting the good fight, my friends, and thank you again for being such great hosts.
This was a great spot to get off the road and kind of reset! Very quiet & pretty private.
Great stay. We had a wonderful conversation with Mr. Gman1216, we wish we were able to meet the Mrs. of the house too, but it didn't work out this time.
The turn into the neighborhood was a bit narrow, but we were able to get our 33' 5th wheel into the spot no problem. Once parked there was plenty of room for pop outs on both sides. The electricity was a bit far and we had to pull up a bit to reach with the 50' of cord we had.
Great location to visit Hershey, Amish areas, and Philadelphia.
Thanks for the one night. Short & sweet! Nice & level, plenty of room. Extra cord made it to 50 a outlet just great, didn't need water, but thanks for having it available. WiFi came in great! Thanks again.
A wonderful couple and great location. We got to chat for a while and discovered several common interests. Beautiful neighborhood. If we ever come this way again we will definitely request a stay.
What a great Boondockers site. Great hosts with 50 amps, water and WiFi! May be out of the way but worth the trip
In spite of very hot weather and some wicked thunderstorms we enjoyed our time at Nothing Fancy. Thank you gman for good communication and for sharing a spot (with water & electricity!) in your driveway with us. We definitely recommend
We loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. Our hosts were such a blessing to us. They made us feel very welcome. They even had some comfortable lawn chairs set out for us. My favorite part was getting to know this wonderful couple. Hopefully we'll meet them again someday.
This was a nice experience, we were set up in his driveway in a quiet neighborhood. Great instructions where we were to park and locate the electric & water.
Nothing Fancy But Water and Electric was a great boondocking experience. Our hosts were fantastic, accommodating, and their place was so quite it was too good to believe. No train noise :), no traffic noise, no noise AT ALL! It was great!
We loved touring the area farm lands that were immaculate and buying from their fruit and vegetable stands.
Highly recommend visiting and would definitely stay again.
This was our first Boondockers welcome stay. Glad it was here the accommodations were fantastic the hosts were awesome unfortunately due to both our schedules we were unable to meet and chat. we met Mrs gman1216 upon departure this place was awesome and we definitely recommend and we hope to be back.
Quiet and comfortable. Beautiful neighborhood a bit off the beaten path. I had a wonderful conversation with the host.
Thanks for the hospitality. Spot is really nice and flat with plenty of space. Beautiful neighborhood. Congrats on selling the summer house, hope that leads to new adventures for you all. Best to you all.
Nothing Fancy But Water And Electric is an excellent host . Mr. Craig kept checking to make sure everything is ok . He let us borrow his electric cord extension. It was really nice to talk to him and got some recommendations of some routes that has beautiful nature view. The location is in a quite, peaceful and safety neighbor. It also has a nice view of sunset but we don’t have much time to enjoy it. Your parking has shade in the afternoon which is really cool special in the hot days . That was great experience to stay here .

The host and I had good messaging in preparation for my arrival. Host's instructions for where to park were clear and I had no problem backing into the site. I brought an extra 30 foot electrical cable which with the 30 foot cable in the camper were long enough to reach the 50 Amp outlet. I also brought a 50A-30A adapter, so all was good. Others take note if you want to reach the outlet. There is much to do in the area: Lancaster farmers market, Strasburg Rail Road, Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. I met the host in the morning as I was breaking down for continuing my journey. Overall, a very positive stay.
Great stay with great host. Great town of Lititz. Hope to see them again sometime.
Nothing fancy is a lovely place in a cute little town. Our hosts were kind and helpful. They are friendly and welcoming. They even provide their guests with wifi. We had a good stay. The place we parked had room for our slide-out, paved, and easy to level on.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcomed! Our conversations with the hosts were very enjoyable and what you would hope to experience through a boondocking experience. We are towing a 35’ 5th wheel and the back in is definitely manageable. The electric and water connections are first rate, not to mention the parking area is very level. We really enjoyed our walks through the Main Street of Lititz. Nino’s pizza, the Tomato Pie Cafe, Wilbur’s Chocolate and CupCake are all great stops, as well as a drive through the countryside. Should you find yourself in this part of PA I’d really encourage you to make a stop at Nothing Fancy, because it will really fit your needs very well and then some! We’re very grateful for the stay and hope to be back one day.
Great hosts. Super friendly and provided everything I needed!
We had a wonderful experience! We didn’t get to meet the hosts in person but they were extremely nice and accommodating. They helped us discover their cute, quaint town that we just loved! Their accommodations were very clean, simple and beautiful! And the view from the camper was gorgeous! We are very grateful for the stay and for meeting such great people!
I didn’t get to meet the host but I met one of his sons who helped me get hooked up. The area was perfect and the power they offered kept my rig warm even with the temps being in the 20’s. Thank you so much for a great stay!
Thanks for the great site in a convenient location.
This is a great place. Easy to access and central to Amish country!
This place was great. Very close by to the lancaster county touristic things. The hosts were awesome too . It was really so nice of them to share and help our trip along.
The hosts were fantastic. Very easy to get to and a beautiful area. Thank you again for your hospitality.
Lititz is a wonderful town to visit in an area full of history and beauty. "Nothing Fancy" is a great spot for exploring. The driveway is easy to get in, very private and has 50 amp service and water. But bring a long extension cord for the electric. My host came from work (nearby) to meet me and make sure I was properly settled. Rainy weather kept me RV-bound most of the time but such is boondocking!
I definitely recommend Nothing Fancy and would love to come back during the dry season.
We had great stay in quiet neighborhood. The host were not home but we did get to see them briefly before we left. We would love to go back if the opportunity arises. Lititz Pa is very scenic with all the older homes and the Amish way of life. The restaurants were very good and everyone was friendly
Everything was just as offered. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here agan.
Hosts weren't home, but we had a good stay. Backing in was easy and we were able to level easily. We didn't need power or water, but both were available. Power needs an extension cord. Access to wifi was very appreciated. Thanks for a nice place to park for the night.
This spot is nice and spacious and easy to get in/out of. The home and area are beautiful and peaceful.
We loved getting to know the hosts. Wonderful couple who were warm, friendly people.
We made the drive to Philadelphia and had a great time during our visit. The Lancaster area also has quite a bit.
Only stayed for a one night stop thru. The setup was fantastic and peaceful. Everything we needed. Although we did not meet the host, the information and communication was prompt and thorough. Thank you for hosting us.
Words can't express it enough for our hosts generosity and loving kindness that they have shown to us. We were in a very safe, quiet location that provided easy access to many area attractions. Excellent communication and directions. "May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26
Craig and Alana were extremely accommodating and friendly. Their space is level. They provided electricity and water. It was so easy to park my vehicle. And, it was so peaceful and quiet. They provided seats to sit outside and they had beautiful Halloween decorations to enjoy. Their site has a beautiful view of sunsets. So close to the Lancaster/Lititz tourist attractions. I give them an 11 out of 10!! I am so grateful for kind and generous people like Craig and Alana!!
"Nothing Fancy" is a wonderful, quiet oasis for boondockers. Wonderful hosts that enjoy the RV community. Had a great stay in one of the best touring areas in the state. Thank you Thank you Thank you !!!
Very quiet and peaceful stay. We spent 2 nights on the property while in the Lancaster area. The host was not at home while we were there, but all communication with him was very pleasant. Would recommend
Had a great nights sleep o. Our 1-niter with gman1216. The place is so much more, beautifully manicured landscapes throughout the neighborhood, very quiet, great access to Lancaster area activities. We greatly appreciated the hospitality and wish we could’ve stayed longer. A highly recommended stop for a great location and host.
thank you for the welcome home feeling. Quite, secure location.easy access for our 30 ft.RV towing a ford ranger. Disconnect in street and back in. It's that easy. Also easy to level (use blocks under levelers) 50 amp.power hook up available. You will need an extension cord. (Also ask for breaker on off when hooking up or Disconnect) our visit was brief do too a 7:00am.appointment.in Denver PA. For chassis/wheel alignment. We hope to pass through in the near future and spend more time with our friendly hosts.
What a blessing our hosts were. They made us feel super welcome and were very friendly. The property is tranquil, and the host's instructions were clear and helpful. The driveway is very easy to level. We only needed to use their 50 amp electric hook-up, so I had to use a 50 to 30 amp adapter, a 20 ft. 30 amp extension, plus our camper cable, and we were able to reach our hookup at the rear of the motorhome.
We just needed a quick overnight stay, but my wife and I would love to visit with them again next time we see the area. They have a beautiful home and are lovely people! Thank you again!
What a great spot! Nice level asphalt surface with water and 50amp. I did have enough of and extension cord to position out of the way so gman1216 provided one to use while there. Although our schedules didn’t line up (we went to historic Lititz, which a must see) the short time we had to chat he was very accommodating. Gman1216 is what Boondockers Welcome is all about. We will be requesting to come back.
Spent a rainy day on the Pennsylvania turnpike and was really happy the host accepted my request to stay. Driving through the idyllic Pennsylvania countryside on the way to their home was really pretty special. Didn’t get to meet them but spent a peaceful night safe at their place, even my pup slept like a baby. Grateful for the accommodations
Wonderful hosts! Very generous and welcoming! Beautiful community, too!
Gman1216 was a wonderful host with a beautiful home and level spot for us. It was a very easy back-in with lots of room. He and his wife stopped for a friendly hello, but we were already in the middle of preparing our dinner. So we missed a great opportunity to really get to know them. They were so accommodating and friendly we really wish we'd had more time to visit with them. We hope to visit them again.
Thank you for letting us stay. You have a very nice parking area and we had a great time exploring the Amish farm markets and all of the beautiful back roads around you.
I don’t know where to start. Let me first say that my wife and I were initially hesitant due to the Virus Pandemic and restrictions that were put in place for travel.
Upon arrival we were greeted by gman 1216 who let my wife and I know that he was totally comfortable with our stay request and that No mask were needed for our interaction with him unless we really felt more comfortable by wearing them and keeping at a distance. Wow what a up front relief for all of us.
We were the first guest that they were hosting and what a beautiful experience we had. The wife was so warm and friendly we spent several hours chatting with them on the rear patio of their immaculate spacious home. Driveway parking was level with And plenty wide with lots of privacy.
We have invited both of them to give us a visit here in Delaware and they have graciously accepted.
Great place again for other Boondockers to explore. We will definitely pay them another visit in the near future!
Believe me it is much more fancy then water and electric.
