We are in beautiful Maine on 2.2 acres. There is water access there to a beautiful pond. Canoe, kayaks and paddle boards are available for play. Many hiking trails and outdoor activities are all around.
A lovely peaceful place and if you catch the gardens in its glory, then we will be happy to share.
Come in before dark and leave by noon the next day if only staying one night.
Dirt road that crosses over a little bridge tho my moving van got thru when i moved there.
If needed there is another way in and requires me opening a gate so must arrange with me prior.
plenty of room next to RV spot in driveway
We do some RV’ing ourselves so check to see if we are around.
Kennebunk land trust trails. Belgrade Lakes and villages. Lobster and more lobster and even more lobster. Fishing.
Beautiful place, really enjoyed my stay here. Hiking close by. Host so very kind and helpful. And yoga on the deck! Thanks so much!!
An amazing garden and beautiful house, and of course talented host that took the time to show us around.
I would definitely recommend and stay again
By far one of our favorite BW stays. Wish we could have stayed longer! Ruby is a joy to be around and was so welcoming to us. Her little cabin on the lake is just wonderful! She is in the process of building out a shed into a cute little Airbnb with outdoor shower, how neat. She let us take some paddle boards out on the lake and relax by the fire at night. So relaxing. The bugs were out though! Should have worn some pants...
Overall fabulous stay. Can't wait to come back here and Boondock or better yet, come back and stay for a yoga retreat with her cool little HipCamp ;)
An absolute wonderful place and host. We so enjoyed the peacefulness of the spot, from the wind in the trees to the calls of the loons. Ruby is an A+ host, so very welcoming. Ruthie, the German Shepard accommodated our 15 lb Chihuahua into her yard.
We hope to get back there again soon!
Shambhala 66 has an breathtaking location. It is a paradise tucked away on a lake. I could have stayed a month. Not to mention she is a jewel of a human with as sweet sweet soul. My favorite part was our campfire chats about adventures and she even taught me to play the native american flute! What a joy and breath of fresh air. I really hope we meet again. Thank you!
We had a fabulous visit with our host. Our little four legged friends were welcome and the property is spectacular. Definitely get in before sunset both to enjoy and have a safe park up. The host is most gracious and considerate of guests.
Note: Be aware that there is a narrow bridge with an angled approach. If you have any concern, unhook your toad and drive up to check it out.
Warm, welcoming, friendly and absolutely wonderful property on secluded lakefront location. A little off the beaten path but well worth it. Our first try at Homesteaders welcome, and what a great introduction to this new community.
We hope to return to visit again soon.
She has a residence resembling a paradise by a lake. The house is built with characteristics and the lake is very clean. The host is very friendly and patient in handling our problems. We had a very good chat between us. I learned a lot about the host’s story. I will upload the video shot at the host in three days. I am very fortunate to meet such a good person. , This great caring person, if I have the opportunity in the future, I will come back. thank.
