Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostI just have a house in a quiet residential area. There are power outlets in the garage. You can use the backyard for your chairs, tables, screenroom, grilling . I have a charcoal grill and a small fire pit you are welcome to use. About a one hour drive to Peoria, IL to the south and Moline, IL to the west. A small town with a Walmart, Menards, fast food and a few nicer restaurants.
Prefer non-smokers.
Quiet time 9pm - 6am
My street is paved. My driveway is gravel, but I have a concrete pad in front of the garage. There is plenty of room to back up and turn around in the adjoining driveway/parking lot next door where there is a little church, when they are not having services.
you can park along side of the house, or in the extra garage stall
There are a few nice parks in town for walking, fishing , Disc golf. 2 golf courses. Less than 10 miles to Johnson-Sauk Trail state park for fishing and hiking. They have a campground with a dump station but I don't know if you can use it if you don't camp there.
If your staying a few days,There is an Amtrak station in town. The train will take you to downtown Chicago in 2 hours.
Just like the name says, it's a safe haven to stay there. We wanted to go for a walk so she told us where to go to see the beautiful neighborhood park and town. Very friendly and have great conversations. Thank you for your hospitality. We'd like to come by again.
