We are moving out of state, so the Florida location is no longer available. We hope to open another site in our new state soon!!
We are located out in the quiet country. You may have small private planes flying overhead during the day on the weekends, but you will likely hear frogs or crickets during the evenings! We are away from all traffic noise. It is very dark here at night, so you will get a great view of the night sky when it is clear, or you can spot satellites going overhead right after sundown. And maybe even get to see a rocket launch!
We have a 30 amp hookup, a strong and fast WiFi connection, water, and antenna hookups too! We also gladly share our trash and recycle bins with you.
You can find out more about us at:
Pets are welcome but please pick up after them. Also please don't let them off lease without supervision. And don't tie them up outside. We do have wild animals in the woods and we want your pets to be safe.
Also please no outside smoking or open fires since we are in the woods and have to be mindful of brush fires.
Please no generators after 8pm.
Please be considerate and respectful of our home. We look forward to having you visit us.
We are about 5 miles from interstate 95. You will feel the city leave you as you drive to our place. The streets coming in to our house are all paved and trees are trimmed for taller rigs.
The turn into our driveway is large enough to accommodate larger rigs as long as you swing wide! The driveway is millings (crushed up asphalt). You will come in from the road and then when the driveway opens up, swing as far to the right as you can and circle around until you are in front of our house and pointing back towards the street. You can than back into the RV spot.
Class A's or smaller will not have a problem - you might have to drop your toad so you can do a 3 point (or 5 point) turn.
Trailers and 5th wheels need to make sure they can swing around and then back into the RV space. Take a good look at the pictures to see if you can make the swing. Our 35 foot rig is in the picture for size reference. Lately we have had some 40' 5th wheels that have had trouble making the swing. This causes people to run up into our yard and over our sidewalk. Please make sure you can stay on the driveway.
There is room beside your rig for parking a vehicle.
Within 5 miles:
Malabar Scrub Sanctuary (trails, playground)
Grant-Valkaria community park (trails, playground)
The Habitat golf course
Goode Park - manatees
Kennedy Space Center (about an hour north)
Rocket Launches https://spacecoastlaunches.com/
Spessard Holland North Beach
Sebastian River Inlet
We felt safe here and slept well! Thank you Jeff for being a generous host and helping us park!
We spent a fantastic two nights here. The spot was absolutely perfect and the area was pretty! The hosts couldn't have been more kind and welcoming, we thank you once again for your hospitality!
JeffandLisa are exceptional and generous hosts!! They have a great set-up with 30amp and great tasting water. Reliable WiFi was another bonus. We enjoyed our conversations with them and look forward to staying again and/or seeing them on the road.
Great quiet location with easy access hook up! Host helped guide our parking and was very hospitable. Thanks for the spot!
Our stay at Into the Quiet Country with Jeff & Lisa was exactly what you’d hope for in a Boondocker stay and more! We enjoyed the conversations, my wife the coffee and the setting. We’re looking forward to when we next cross paths with Jeff & Lisa either at their property or on the road! Keep well you two.
The host's were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable. Can't wait to stop by again ☺️
We really enjoyed our stay in the Quiet Country and appreciated the new 30A hookup with water, access to their wifi, and an offer to connect to the tv antenna for local stations. Had some fun conversations with JeffandLisa and look forward to seeing them down the road. We were coming in from the south so took the new St. Johns Pkwy, to Babcock, to Valkaria, to Corey, to Benjamin. St. Johns Pkwy is new and the intersection off the highway is interesting (one of those backwards criss-cross things) but easily maneuverable with a rig and no traffic since the area it's serving hasn't developed yet. We do have a 40' 5th wheel and was able to make the turn around in the driveway. However, it was pivoting about the axles and digging in some on the crushed asphalt. I may have had better luck pulling ahead toward the side of their garage, backing to the blind side into the turn-around spot, and then making the turn. Not sure. Regardless, a 40' 5th wheel fit, but there wasn't too much room to spare on the turn around so make sure you can handle your rig if you are on the larger side. Thanks JeffandLisa!
A quick overnight stay in a quiet, peaceful, safe area...Thanks!
Jeff, Congrats on Retirement! Maybe we'll see you on the road! Thanks again.
This was a terrific experience for us. Our hosts were so gracious and sharing. We are arrived much later than we expected but received a warm welcome and assistance getting backed into place. We felt like we were camping in a tropical oasis, very peaceful and beautiful. We very much enjoyed our stay and appreciate our house generosity.
It’s always a pleasure staying here. The hosts have made the electric and water setups so convenient and the location is lovely. They are the perfect hosts!
This was our first time using Boondockers Welcome and it was a fantastic first experience! From the initial request online to the time we left JeffandLisa were super accommodating and friendly. They have a nice and level spot, very quiet and secure feeling. They even came outside so we could watch our first ever rocket launch with them. Check out their YouTube channel for RV tips. Highly recommended!
So helpful with our desire to see a space launch!
Got to the place about 4pm as expected and was met with a smile by one of the host.
After getting hooked up with 30amp and water we cleaned the RV a bit as it had been some time.
Got to wash a few things on the outside shower (like the dog...yippy).
VERY peaceful place.
Kindness and smiles were plentiful.
Was happy to slip the host(s) a jar of our raw 2020 spring honey from my hives in Maine.
Would HIGHLY recommend this place and people!
These hosts are very friendly and welcoming. We did not get to know them as well as we would have liked due to social distancing but hope to visit again sometime after covid is under control. Their location was perfect for our needs.
As long as your rig is not huge, you could not go wrong here!
Nice people and lovely comfortable setup. Great country area but very close to the beach and shopping.
Lovely people and location. Quiet, peaceful and picturesque neighborhood. Easy access to parking spot, all the conveniences you need! Another great boondocking experience!
We were lucky to get a bonus night here. We enjoyed everything. Hosts and hookups are great. And the high speed WiFi was a real treat!
This is the best Boondocking experience! Secluded property with what I have to call expansive hook ups. What a comfortable stay. Into the quiet country lives up to its name and the hosts are friendly, generous and couldn’t be more accommodating.
We had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful property! Pristine, new hookups. Host was so kind, generous, and accommodating! Loved our chats! Definitely putting this location on our route again someday! Thank you!! :)
JeffandLisa were absolutely amazing hosts!! The space they created for Boondockers is beautiful. They were super helpful and attentive to our needs as guests. And as a bonus... if you want to see the sunrise, dolphins and manatee; it’s just a 7 minute drive away!!
For our first time “boondocking” this was the best experience we could have had. JeffandLisa met us outside when we arrived and helped us get into just the right spot. He made sure we had everything we needed and even provided water, electric and antenna connection. Their home sits off a main road tucked away in an oasis.
The next morning they invited us to watch them roast coffee beans using a diy roaster set up. The kids loved learning about coffee beans and the various roasting options.
We were fortunate to see a rocket launch, which was carrying the first black astronaut who will live on the International Space Station.
There’s so much more I could say about our stay. It’s not far from the Indian River Inlet and several beaches. The sunset at their property is breathtaking.
They are fabulous hosts!!!
Extremely hospitable! Great, quiet location. We felt welcome & comfortable. Definitely recommend this stay! Thank you!
We saw a rocket launch at the cape after our hosts were so nice and extended the offer for us to stay an extra 2 nights. What a thrill to have the chance to finally see a rocket launch in person. Unfortunately my wife and I came down with a cold and had to hunker down in our RV most of our stay so we didn’t really get to spend a lot of time with our new friends. They were so nice to us and checked to make sure we were comfortable. I had a nice chat about common interests and they shared some of their local favorite spots to visit. I can see why this is a popular BW site! What a super nice couple, we hope we can visit again soon and have a chance to visit-thank you both, happy travels.
We are truly thankful for our time at “Into the Quiet Country”. Our hosts were so nice and met us outside to show us where to park and made sure we got hooked up and were so polite making sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. We were here to see a rocket launch at the cape. Our hosts saw that the launch was cancelled and offered us to stay An extra 2nights so we could see it. HOW AMAZING! We got to see the launch AND made new friends. We won’t forget the kindness of our fantastic hosts and hope we can visit again soon.
Great host and hostess. Our dogs warmed up to him immediately. Says a lot. Nice space with elec. And water if needed. Close to restaurants. Toured their unique class a. Nice. Is a real Florida atmosphere.
I have visited this location several times and it has become one of my favorites. The location is quiet and perfect for visiting the area. I always enjoy talking with the hospitable Hosts. I give it 6 stars out of 5.
I didn't have all these amenities at the last campground I was at. Nice quiet location about 5 miles from the interstate. You'll sleep like a baby. Word of caution - be sure to stay on the milled blacktop surface of the driveway. This summers heavy rains have left the hosts lawn like a wet sponge.
I will try to return to Into the Quiet the next time I need a BW site in this area.
Our hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating! Wonderful communication before and during our stay. We couldn’t have been happier with the experience.
This is one of my favorite BW locations. The hosts are friendly and knowledgeable. I really enjoy talking with them. The location is also perfect for visiting friends in the area and the setting is lovely.
Great Host! Wonderful conversation and definitely is a Quiet Place in the Country! Hope to visit again soon. 😊
I’m new with the travel trailer and they were the most amazing hosts! They help me with some great RV tips. They were also very helpful and provided me with Information on the local places. Thank you very much for the great hospitality!
We enjoyed our stay here. Our host was most helpful to two RV newbies. The location was quiet, and we were near to the beach to drive there and take a walk the next morning.
Great hosts! They have been extremely accommodating and helpful. We would love to stay here again the next time we're in the area.
They are very nice hosts who had water and electricity set up ready for me to use. They shared their beer and very nice conversation
We found their place easily! JeffandLisa guided us to where to park, both our RV and tow. We had the 30 amp, water hookup and cable ready and waiting for us! Super nice place and host! We had everything we needed! Wish we could have stayed longer but it was just an overnight. Very quiet! Enjoyed our stay and so did our dogs. Thank you so much for being so helpful and accommodating! Will definitely stay here again if able to!
It was so wonderful to have a place to stay during this time. With so many places closed and not excepting RV’ers it was a relief to be able to stay in such a lovely country location. I am very grateful they accepted my reservation and for their gracious hospitality.
Really enjoy the quiet country location. Saw 2 cardinals, a bluejay and several rabbits today. I always feel like smiling here.
This was my second visit. I really enjoy the quiet country location and the delightful hosts. They are always smiling and so helpful. It’s a pleasure to stay here.
It was so nice of the hosts to accommodate me during Covid 19. I was passing through on my way home and just needed a safe overnight spot. I also got a wonderfully quiet and peaceful night's sleep! We did not socialize, but my contacts with the hosts were warm and welcoming. Thanks so much.
What a pleasant couple! They’re so thoughtful and helpful. I’m looking forward to returning.
Too bad about this social distancing. Jeff and Lisa seems like a couple that would be good to get to know a little better. The parking spot is great on their driveway with 30 amp hookup. Jeff even offered water. Definitely worth stopping again a more normal times.
