Kind, generous, and welcoming. Nice spot with a great view.
Thank you for having us.
Partly Google maps and partly me. Read the directions given by the host. Google maps took me a quarter mile past twice, but when I tried to show the host when I finally got there, GM then worked from her property. 🥴 Anyway, nice host and site once I found it. Great cell signal from a tower a mile away and great OTA TV reception.
It was an absolute pleasure staying at this host site. Bren the Collie greeted us in the field along with Cimeronstar and showed us exactly where to park and be level. The garden was beautiful and the host gave us much appreciated hot peppers and tomatoes. We saw a beautiful Red Ball sunset that was peeking through the clouds. A very helpful and knowledgeable host for sure. Highly recommended!!
Thanks for our first time! It was a pleasure talking to you and those cute fur-babies. Passing on your RV experiences to us was a added bonus to your great place. We loved it there and recommend this place to all our community! Thanks again!
A huge "Thank you" to our wonderful host (and regal companion) for making our first expeirence with Boondocker's Welcome effortless. We were given excellent directions, the host was there to guide us to the easiest way to situate our rig on the property and went above and beyond in aiding us in locating a tool to fix a problem we had with our hitch. Hope all our boondocking goes as well and we meet more folks as kind and helpful as our host. Much appreciated.
We appreciated the flat spot and electrical hook up. The spot was private and we slept good. Thanks again for responding quickly to our request and sharing information.
Set among Carol’s lovely garden and mountain top home we had a wonderful overnight on our way west . Hostess was helpful and lent us a 30 amp extension cord to connect to her electricity, was cloudy so we didn’t see the sunset rave reviews on other post but we did enjoy a nice thunderstorm and relaxing time next to our camper. Carol was very accommodating and definitely a master of many trades. Fun to be with.
Mountaintop was so accommodating and a pleasure to get to know. A very creative human. The space I parked at was very private and much appreciated. Thanks so much for your hospitality and generosity.
Had an excellent layover. Beautiful sunset over Pittsburgh, and host was very helpful with getting me parked. Thank you!
Cimeronstar is a great host! We missed the sunset, but hope to catch it another time!
Use the coordinates as suggested, give the host a text if necessary. Friendly and convenient. Watch for a great sunset.
Friendly and quick responses. Would stay here again if I was in the area. Thank you!
Generous host with a lovely campsite. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks for making it so comfortable.
Thank you for having us. We had fun playing with Brenn and sitting out. Sorry we didn't get a chance to sit and chat before we went in. Exit 91 off 76 was best. Glad we didn't take Exit 75 as our GPS said with that 8% grade and the median. Be well!
Cimeronstar made our 2 night stay a smooth adventure. We stayed there to visit my wife's hometown. Water and electricity were available and so we're interesting nearby eating spots. We would stay again and would recommend.
Very nice lady with a great mountain view. She allowed us to stay an extra day with no issue. Definitely check out the Ohiopyle State Park and go to the natural waterslide! Such a fun place to go!
We had a very pleasant stay. Would recommend it to any traveling boondocker.
Beautiful place and view. Easy to access and the host is very nice.
We had a very nice stay. She meet us after we had arrived and helped setup our electric. Enjoyed playing fetch with her dog, he just loves to play. Nice site by trees, secluded enough to just take it easy. A little traffic noise but was fairly quiet at night. Tried the Pizza and Antique shop across the road and was very nice. Had about 12 old cars and lots of other memorabila. Meal was very good. Will stay again someday. Thank You
This was our first Boondockers experience and it was wonderful! Carol was very informative with directions, met us and helped us get our camper settled. Very engaging host and highly recommend.
We had good communications with our host prior to our stay. Upon our arrival she greeted us and with several locations to choose from we parked in a very level spot behind her house.
The access road to her drive is not paved and a bit bumpy but is quite manageable.
This host has been a pleasure to chat with, she was super helpful with suggestions for everything in the area and were very grateful for her generous offer of power. Her pup is very friendly and playful. We got to enjoy a campfire with other guests that were also staying here. We were here on a weekend and there was some road noise during the day but it was really quiet to sleep at night. We enjoyed our stay and would be grateful to be able to stay here again in the future.
Host went out of her way to make sure we had all the amenities we needed. We saw a beautiful sunset!! Thanks!
Getting in was a little hard (Especially for larger rigs or people who don't know the area) but once we got settled, all was well. The host is an amazing lady to say the least. She built her home and then some with her own two hands. You really must see the coal stove she has. We could learn a thing or two from her, that's for sure. Wish we could've stayed a bit longer too after making a new friend. She was generous with her jarred garden goodies too. If you order from the pizza place across the street, we recommend the Barbeque Chicken Pizza and there's a Dollar General Store not far from this spot. They had a little bit of everything. Hoping to stay here again on our way back.
Host was very helpful. We enjoyed visiting with the host while viewing a beautiful sunset.
Good place to stay if visiting Ohiopyle State Park. There's a lot to do over there. Great winery nearby also.
After a long, extremely windy day, this was a terrific spot to spend the night. Aptly named..... the sunset was indeed spectacular!!
We were met by the host who signaled us to the correct driveway. She was very accommodating and helpful. Her dog and our dog got along fine. We had a pleasant, relaxing night behind her house. The sunset from her lot was gorgeous.
Although we didn't meet in person our host kept in touch with us to make sure we were ok and gave us all the details we needed to have a great stay. What a location!! Our rv is too big to go to the back of the yard, but we fit perfectly in the back drive, just had to unhook the toad on the side street. As described there was a 30 amp plug for our use and that was all we needed. With a campfire in the fire ring sitting watching the sun set we were very happy. Thanks again to our host!
We got our wires crossed & the host wasn’t expecting us; however, we were made to feel welcome. The spaces normally available were occupied. The large field wasn’t compatible with our size RV so we cut our stay short. We would definitely stay again if in the area when space is available.
Had a fantastic stay during our visit to see family in Greenburg. A beautiful, spacious area set back from the busy highway out front, which helped a lot with noise. Our host met us upon checking to ensure we knew where to park. Communication was great and she shared some of her beautiful home grown tomatoes with us. Delicious. Her dog Bren was a sweetheart. Our little dog enjoyed frolicking with him in the large field. Thank you for a safe haven.
Easy spot right on the main road but somehow still quiet. Easy in and out. Host was super knowledgeable about the area. Thanks again.
The host is super nice. Beautiful area with lots to see. The camping spot is nice.
We spent last night at Cimeronstar. Our hostess met us as we pulled in and showed us where to park and where the hookups were, as well as the best place to view the upcoming mountain sunset. She also provided us with very clear directions on where we could most easily turn our rig around as we had to cross a busy highway to get back on route in the morning. And, as all the other reviews mentioned, we were sent on our way with fresh produce (tomatoes and peppers) from the garden. Enjoyable stay and a gracious hostess!
Our host was the best. Very informative about the area, we had a private area behind her house to park our camper. She was so gracious and gave us some homegrown vegetables.
We really enjoyed our stay at Cimeronstar. Our host was amazing and even shared produce from the garden. We felt very welcome. 😁👍🙏
We stayed at this location last night. We were provided a great spot for the evening. Beautiful view and a very welcoming host! We picked tomatoes while the dogs ran around the property. We were provided with lots of veggies to take with us. Highly recommend a stay here!
Mountain top sunset was so welcoming. She gave us local recommendations of where to go, provided hookups for electric and well water, and fresh veggies from her beautiful garden. Her dog was lovely and played well with ours!
Nice lady, greeted us with a basket of fresh veggies. Found a level spot on the back gravel driveway. Plenty of room to walk the dogs. Unfortunately it was very cloudy and rained most of our overnight stay. Because of the weather we were not able to view the full glory of the sunset.
Our first BW experience and it was a good one.
Our host picked a basket of fresh veggies for us to feast on and had a friendly collie that wanted to play fetch 'til the cows came home.
Thanks for the great experience and be safe!
She was very nice and kind to us. to us. Doc and I had a relaxing and comfortable stay on her property. She helped us find some places to go sightseeing. We really appreciate her letting us stay on her theproperty.
Beautiful location and generous host! Great accomodations!
Such a great host .A very nice location and a beautiful sunset! We enjoyed our conversation and thank you so much for the vegetables from your garden. Safe Travels & All the Best !
Very convenient location in SW PA enroute back to WNY early in Covid 19 outbreak and very accommodating hostess.Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the sunset since it was overcast the night we stayed in late March.
Can’t say enough wonderful things about our host!! She was extremely helpful, was so kind to share her wealth of knowledge about the area, and showed us the best spots to take in the spectacular sunset. So grateful and highly recommend.
Our host was great to talk to about the area. My kids played with her grandkids and a had a nice time too. Area was easy to pull the trailer through and pretty secluded. Loved the stay.
Needed a place to stay while travelling. This site had 30 amp and water. The host gave good directions and met us when we got there. It really had a nice sunset. Would like to come back and stay longer. There is so much to do in that area.
The host is an absolutely wonderful host she was very helpful and we truly enjoyed our stay! Being new to boondocking she helped us park and gave us tips and advice for our visit. The site was a super easy pull through and hand ample shade. The sunsets were amazing every night. Can’t say enough good things about this site or host.
We had a great stay and beautiful sunset. Our host was very accommodating and we were able to park on a field under trees for shade. We met another couple who stayed with their 5th wheel as well. Highly recommend Cimeronstars place. FYI if you are noise sensitive, the place is on a busy street and Hill with number of trucks passing.
Carol was absolutely amazing. This was our first ever BW stay and we loved it! We originally passed her property so she came out to wave us down. We were only there for one day but wish we would have stayed longer! Ohiopyle State Park was only 30 minutes away and we went there per Carols recommendation! We got home just in time to see the beautiful sunset! Thank you so much!
We had a great experience at Mountain Top Sunset! The host was very helpful with getting our rig up her driveway, turned around in the large open yard, and parked in the exact side-to-side level location. The host knows where to park to provide level ground and with enough clearance for your slide outs.
The location is definitely a Pennsylvania mountain top! Great views in the evening and morning! My kids enjoyed playing on the tire swing hanging from a tree while I got our rig connected for departure. Then on our drive towards I70, we got to drive thru the town of Mount Pleasant--very cute setting!
Thank you Mountain Top Sunset!
Thanks for a great stay! We showed up, just having purchased our travel trailer, and were REALLY unprepared. We didn't have hardly anything to level the trailer, and the host was super nice and helpful, and she let us use some of her wood leveling blocks. We also had a 30-amp electrical hookup--which was GREAT-- and water was available (although we didn't us it). The site convenient to the turnpike, but was a little difficult to find, although that's probably more my fault than anything else. The host was even nice enough to go outside and flag me down b/c I was having problems finding the place. The only thing I would mention is that if you are a VERY lite sleeper, you MIGHT have a little difficulty due to road noise from motorcycles and fireworks going off. I slept fine, however, and I'm guessing there were more Harley-Davidson's and fireworks than normal b/c we stayed here over the Memorial Day holiday. Thanks again to our wonderful host!
Traveling from Illinois to MD and delayed by construction areas. Needed a last minute place to stay. Was fortunate that our host gave us a quick response and welcomed us to the mountain top sunset. Too cloudy to see the sunset but host was great.. Helped us hook up for the night. Thanks!
We had a comfortable stay on the mountain top. Access to water, sewer and 30amp electric. The host was friendly, knowledgable and chatty. The site is located on the corner lot beside the first little field on right. Easy access.
