We are fairly easy going. Just tell us what your needs are. Electricity is limited, if you need it we will do our best to accommodate you. We have lots of water that you can pick up.
We want our guest to relax, and feel at home, so you can continue your travels in safety.
Take the time you need, no stress around here.
Clean gravel entrance, if you decide to camp to a private area, it will be more like sandy and grass.
We will find an appropriate spot on our property
WE are available most of the time. Just check with us even last minute arrangements are OK, as long as we get your request before you have past us.
Most weekends, there is something going on in this area. The town of Massey has a Museum, and great Restaurants, On the third weekend of August, the Massey fair is on.
Neer us, in Serpent River, the Pow Wow is on ,beginning of August. Other towns, not too far from us, have theirs too in late summer months.
You can always relax here and take a walk in the bush, follow the trail and don't get lost. Please ask for some explanation.
Wonderful spot to spend the night. We were immediately invited in and given drinks. Later we sat around their table and shared stories for several hours.
Hope you can come visit us sometime.
They could host a rally on their beautiful property.
Wonderful people. Interesting conversation.
Hope to see them again.
This was my first experience with this site after typically staying in Walmart lots. Paul and Diane couldnt have been sweeter or more accommodating to my needs. I sleep in my car while traveling and since it was my 70th birthday, they surprised me by letting me sleep in their van so I could stretch out for the night. It was lovely and cool and they even treated me to a much needed shower. Paul is church organist and it was great to hear him play. I couldnt have had a better experience!
We had a great time meeting Paul and Diana. They had lots of great information to share with us. Super friendly. Paul helped us get situated just right for a great night's sleep.
This place is like a little paradise! Very nice hosts! Lovely garden and a lot of space. Thanks a lot for Hosting us.
Super friendly and accommodating. Can't thank Paul and Diane enough. Kids ran free and helped with caterpillars!
Paul, Marie and the kids.
Easy to find lovely location. Couple very friendly offering advise and Happy to meet us
I would highly recommend this place
Right off the highway. Slow down in the last curve since the entrance is right there.
Great couple and lots of room to walk around and relax.
I will be back next time i'm in the area.
Driveway is right off trans Canada 17. Host's, Up the Hill, responded promptly and gave us clear instructions. We only stayed a night but it was peaceful and felt safe.
A warm welcome and refreshments on arrival. Lovely people to chat with. Nice private location to park away from the highway. Thanks for the great stay.
I was travelling solo and felt very welcome by those kind persons. It was a nice and safe place to stay along the journey through Canada. Thank you!
A great spot to stay with pathways in the woods. However you must walk up the rock hill and take in the view! Thanks "Up The Hill" for a great night.
We had a nice time meeting and talking, and walking around their place. We sat around talking until late evening. There is plenty of room back the drive to park turn around, with sun or shade.
The first boondocking experience is great with these couple and place. They are very nice, friendly and helpful. We shared some RV experience and had very happy conversation. The property is beautiful, quiet and at a very convenient location. If we go to that area again, we will visit them again for sure and welcome them boondocking at our place.
Great little spot, real close the the highway ,easy to find, nice spot on a small hill.Played a little music with them. Hope to see them again, next time through.
We couldn't make the timing work for an overnight boondock but stopped in to upthehill on our way through. Very nice people and a convenient stopover off Highway 17. They have a pretty little hill to park on, up the hill back from their house. Maybe next time.
