Beautiful views, easy access to the freeway. local businesses nearby (cafe with excellent breakfast 8 miles south and Montana's best homemade pie) Historical area, very peaceful.
Common sense courtesy
Clean up after your pet and keep them on a leash when other pets or children are around.
Park in an organized manner, don't block the driveway
Be safe with campfires, try not to burn trash. We CAN run your trash to the dump if you really need us to.
No loud noises or parties and try not to run generators after 10 PM
And most of all...RELAX....
Less than a quarter mile from Exit 23 on Interstate 15 in Montana. Head south on the east side frontage road approximately 1/4 mile south. Property has a tan colored house on it. It is located between Center Street and the cattle loading ramp. 4 acre parcel with a driveway halfway down. We live in the house on the property.
No trees, sharp left turn to get on the property but plenty of room to turn around and manuever on the property. Back up to the front fence for more organized parking if it gets crowded and for better views of the mountains.
Wifi available, long password
Working on getting campfire rings
Clark Canyon Reservior, Yellowstone National park (3 hours away) Glacier National Park (5 hours away)
Super convenient spot just off I-15 with incredible mountain views. Mac was a very pleasant and accommodating host sharing his WiFi password and allowing us to park wherever comfortable. We had a great level spot along the fence with plenty of room to maneuver our 41’ coach. Went to Lima for handmade burgers and pie. Would have definitely stayed more than a night if it were not for the freezing cold weather (in the 20’s). We were grateful Mac was fine with us running our generator all night. Took a brisk morning walk around the block (which appears to be the whole town with a population of 35) then enjoyed chatting with Mac before getting back on the road. Will definitely be back to explore Montana when the weather is warmer.
We didn't think we were going to be able to make it, but at the last minute Freightliner got us up and running. We were late arriving but we were greeted and made to feel welcome. Great location easy in and out. We were very appreciative of our Host great layover. Thanks so much. George/Carol
Great overnight. I had communicated throughout the day what time I was arriving. Host was standing in the front yard flagging me into his place. I was offered wifi, water hookup and I believe 120 hookup. Previous night I had taken on fresh water, dumped tanks and solar had batteries fully charged so was good in that department, but appreciated the offer. Btw 3 bars on verizon.
We had a nice chat about his goldwing and his recently acquired holiday rambler class a. I could tell he was proud of his family
Wish I had more time in delle as I love to explore small towns and whatever put them on the map. Maybe next time as was on a deadline to get to NW Montana the following day.
Thanks for the hospitality
Mr. Story was very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed a nice and quiet several day break from the road. I would stay here again.
Story 9 was an awesome host for our first Boon dockers welcome experience.
He was very responsive and helped us park on his lovely property. Good views of the mountains.
Cute little town of only 35 population, but conveniently located right off of I-15 in Dell, Montana.
We came weary and bedraggled from adventures in Yellowstone and moving too fast across Wyoming and southern Idaho. We left completely refreshed and completely clean for the first time in a couple months, having made new friends with similar interests and an amazing wealth of information on the most worthy topics.
I haven't even mentioned the scenery either...
We can't wait to have a BW host location of our own so can be half as much of a blessing as these folks.
A nice place to relax for a bit. Enough room for a few Class A motorhomes. Definitely on my short list.
The perfect spot after a long drive. This was our 2nd stay here and it's been great!
Thanks so much for the level, grassy site with convenient access and lovely 360-degree views! We enjoyed chatting with our hosts. Wide open Montana skies allowed for nighttime gazing during the peak of Perseid Metor Showers!
Mr. Story was there to greet us and direct us to our site for the night. Great accommodations with easy access.
Pretty Prairie Song and Dance
Me. Story, accepted our last minute request and responded immediately. Very nice & gracious hosts. Close to highway to get in and out, but quiet & surrounded by the rolling hills. Plenty of space to boondock. We had our three furry friends & they loved the outdoor space. I would stay here again.
Sweet couple that opens their big front yard to view the stars and enjoy a fantastic sunset! Thank you so much and best adventures to you both!
The hosts were nice. Offered hookup to water, electric and when I asked if I could rinse off my toad he said wash it and your whole RV if you want. This place was wonderful with great views, plenty of room and a museum in Dillon, 40 miles north, that covers the questions about southwestern Montana. We will be staying there again.
Nice simple, easy highway access, Nice older Saloon style resturant Just up the street, and very good cafe 8 min drive south. Great hosts. Highly recommended.
My visit was very short but the Host graciously did everything he could to make my visit comfortable. Yes! I would stay here again, perhaps for a longer visit.
Thank you Story9!
Story9 was very accommodating and responsive. We were 1 hour away when we requested a stay. immediate response. Even though close to train tracks it was quiet. The one train we did see was fun to see up close. A fox family of 7 had their den near the tracks. We watched then wrestle and tumble all evening. Better than a television!
Lots of space and beautiful views! It was also super convenient to the interstate.
