Bella Terre is an amazing experience. We had a ton of room for the kids and dog to explore. Lots of privacy and space. The host was amazing and brought us some fresh eggs and oranges and even a morning paper. The kids loved seeing the chickens, geese, and donkey on the end of the property. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely stop again if we are in the area. Best stay to date!
Nice quiet peaceful property. Many choices on where to set up. We only spent a short amount of time with the host but wish it could have been more. He had many interesting stories. As an added bonus he brought us fresh eggs & oranges!
We had a great stay with Bella Terre! It was super quiet, with a nice setting with trees. Our host showed us utmost hospitality, and even provided us with some farm fresh eggs. Looking forward to a longer visit next time!
Thank you very much for such a great stay. Host was extremely welcoming and accommodating to ensure we had the best visit possible. Would highly recommend if in the area!
We stayed at Belle Terre going east and we’re so impressed we stayed again when going back west. Had a great stay both times; very much appreciated.
Our stay at Bella Terre was very much enjoyed. We swapped travel stories and gifts and he was even able to join us for a meal. We wish him luck with all his future endeavors and will likely stay with him again on our way back through.
I'm at a loss for the words that would express just how nice, thoughtful, generous Robert was to my wife and myself. Just when I had thought I met the nicest hoast ever, Robert surpassed everyone by a mile!
If you don't stay at Bella Terre at least once, it's your loss!
Robert, we will be back!
Thank You is not enough!

The host at Bella Terre is a delight. He treated us like family. If you want to learn about the local history and explore small towns, plantations or the bayou, this is an ideal spot.
We had a wonderful time here. Our host was amazing and took great care of us. Wish we could have spent more time with him but we had a busy schedule. We loved the location. The town is cute and had everything we needed. Also - hit up Zams Tours to see the alligators. Will definitely come back.
Very nice quiet property, nice level spots to park. Lots of birds and even saw an owl. Water was available, and that was fine as we didn't need other hookups. Fun things to do in the area, but the very best part was our gracious host, a true example of southern hospitality. He made our stay very special. We will happily visit again when in the area.
We had a great stay here. In fact, we stayed an extra 2 nights. The host is a super guy, extremely hospitable and generous. We couldn't ask for more. We had long chats and we will surely be back. The area and site are both beautiful. Thanks so much, once again. Highly recommended!
BellaTerre is an oasis amongst our materialistic world. BelleTerre is a gracious host, offering a variety of citrus fruit and farm fresh eggs as he can. His sheep, geese, ducks, chickens, and donkey along with some local wildlife like owls and skunks, made the setting like you are hundreds of miles from civilization. BellaTerre is intent on making your stay as enjoyable as possible and freely shares stories of his worldwide travels. I would definitely stay again.
Beautiful property, well cared for by a really gracious and generous host. Eggs and fruit on offer, grown on the property were welcome. A kind host who spends all day caring for others. Would definitely recommend
It was a gear stay. Easy access. Great gentleman. Highest recommendation
Things are not always what they seem; Bella Terre is advertised as having the capacity of up to 52 RVs. And, technically that’s true.
But it’s a huge, empty, meticulously groomed and cared for piece of Thibodaux history.
The grounds boast individual, mostly flat sites with water hook ups.
The land, and its owner, have a great history. Probably enough for an interesting book.
Some of the environmental improvements made over the years, and ones planned for the future, are remarkable.
The host has cute critters (a dozen fresh eggs our first morning). And he oozes southern generosity, cultural pride, and roots that reach out well beyond home.
Bella Terre is a charming location with an even more charming host. We loved it here and highly recommend you plan a stay at Bella Terre. You will not regret it. If you are interested in experiencing true southern hospitality, this is the spot.
Our host is a real gratious sincere southern gentleman. The land we parked on is surrounded by very tall old trees. Beautiful place to share stories. This is a place you will want to stay awhile. Short drives to many plantations. 45 mins into New Orleans to see the sights and come back for a quiet evening.
Thank you Boondocker Bella Terre. We will come back.
