Site is on the Meathouse Fork Creek which flows from Middle Island Creek. Site is a flat grassy spot. There’s a fire pit and dogs are welcome but need to be restrained as it’s a working farm.
Please remove all trash.
Enjoy and respect our land.
Must cross a narrow bridge, our 28 foot rig has no problem. Bridge used by semis and buses. Paved roads to the parking site.
Tow vehicle parking at site of rig
I’ve assembled a binder of local attractions, going from closest in mileage to further to share with guests.
The view was splendid: deer, cows on the hill, and their little steer, Marcus. We actually stayed three days because our cat hurt his leg. What a restful place. Hosts were very nice and helpful. They even told us about the vet we used for our cat
Beautiful site on a level grassy former pasture close to a creek. We arrived and had no difficulty crossing the “Narrow Bridge” with our 8 1/2 foot wide class A Winnebago.
Our hosts welcomed us and indicated where to park. They provided 15 amp electric, which was very welcome on a 98 degree day, and a fire ring.
We had a great conversation and even enjoyed a guided tour of the farm and surrounding property. The welcome gift was delicious!
We will request this site again and highly recommend to others.
The hosts are the most thoughtful and considerate that we have come across yet (and BW hosts are very thoughtful and considerate).
They had the electric cord set up for us next to a beautiful creek in a level part of the grass at their scenic farm. They even set up a fire pit with wood arranged in the different sizes needed to make a fire.
They even had a welcome gift for us which was a wonderful surprise.
We ended up coming in much later than we anticipated but they were both and to come out to meet us and show us where to park. They were very understanding and we felt very welcome.
If you would like a great restful stay on a gorgeous property, this is definitely it.
Very memorable stay which we highly recommend
