Walmart, food options, movie, drug store, Publix, Krogers Downtown Mobile is a must see.
Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. It was a pleasure chatting and getting to know them. One evening/morning seemed too short. I enjoyed all the shared RVing knowledge and antique car showroom. We look forward to visiting again. We parked on the street with our 32ft 5th-wheel. Opening the door-slide over the grass was not problem. I did keep my street-side slides in to be courteous and safe. I also put my trailer tire in the gutter, against the curb, then leveled up with 5" of pads. Our host had a water hose and extension cord ready to for us, at the sidewalk. I used my 15A adapter.
We stayed just one night & wished it would have been longer. We enjoyed meeting them, sharing stories & enjoying a great meal out together. JH worked so hard at so many different options with us to get our trailer level, we learned so much from his years of experience.
We now have so many local places we want to return to visit and have made great friends here in Mobile, AL.
The Bright Spot is a place we highly recommend if you find yourself traveling through southern Alabama.

Hosts were more than hospitable. Even stayed up late and helped with our power issue. They recommend several sights that have been amazing!! We would recommend them for anyone and will be staying in the future.
We stayed with jhbright one night and enjoyed meeting them and sharing stories. We are relative newbies and they have a ton of RVing experience. I would recommend anyone traveling through Mobile, AL to stay at The Bright Spot!
