We use to be a small family farm, in a country setting, but no longer have any livestock. A large yard with mature trees and electric fencing on three sides for our pastures, which there are a few of the neighbor's horses. The neighbors we do have are all hundreds of yards away so running generators is acceptable although one may notice should you decide to remove your clothing outside. Quiet surroundings but being that this is middle GA expect gnats and bugs in the spring and summertime.
No smoking on property. No excessive drinking on property. Clean up after yourself and your dog. You are welcome to leave trash in our household dumpster. May burn outside fire ring, if you have one.
Gravel driveway is appropriate for one vehicle at a time. We have hanging branches in one spot of the driveway that may effect rigs that are 16' high. We do have very high branches throughout rest of yard/docking location. Turning around is not a drive through but able to accomplish with backing up and turning around. Tight 2-point turn is doable for experienced travelers while other drivers may make a 5-6 point turn around.
Gravel driveway (250ft) with a small up hill incline and a rural road out front that has some traffic; mainly going to work and returning home at end of the day. Also toad vehicles can park any where in yard or beside rig.
Since we also travel please contact us first. We do a lot of last minute trips in the summer to stay away from the heat, but feel free to give us a shout out and see if we can accommodate you.
10 miles--- north is Fort Valley, GA with Fort Valley State University.

Had an awesome visit to the "promised land". A very kind and loving host. Beautiful location!
We and our pups had a wonderful stay and our host was extremely nice and a joy to talk with. We look forward to returning in the future!
We loved our time here. We are new to Boonedocking and this was perfect for us to get to know our equipment. Lovely quiet stay.
Very nice stay with water and electricity. Spent a nice evening munching snacks and swapping RVing and other stories and adventures.
We loved our stay so much we stayed a second day. At the recommendation of the hosts, we checked out the Aviation Museum and a local gastropub. Both were great. Had good conversion and really felt at home. Can't wait to return!
R Promised Land lives up to its name! R & R went out of their way to not only make sure that we were comfortable, but were concerned about our fur baby as well! This included making sure all gates were closed so he could run free in their pasture! We made an immediate connection with our hosts & spent several hours visiting with them. It was hard leaving this morning bc there was so much more to talk about with them! We look forward to staying for several days as well as hopefully connecting with them on the road! Plus the maple butter & peach jam were sweet surprise gifts from them!
Such a wonderfully friendly hosts that are salt of the earth.
Thank you for hosting
We can’t thank these two enough for their hospitality! Easy in, easy out, plenty of space. Our 5
Year old enjoyed their trampoline, fort and fun tree swing! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "R" Promised Land and will definitely be sure to schedule stops here when we are in the area! They literally bent over backwards to be sure we had everything we needed, and our 🐕 dog has a new best friend (their dog 🐕) as well❤
We enjoyed our stay at Munchmembers. R an R are very kind and helpful. Conversation was so easy. We have much in common. Their dog is beautiful and so well behaved.
R and R are also very generous. They even wanted us to have a little dog that had wandered on their property. 😉. Thanks so much for having us! We would gladly stay again.
We had a wonderful stay. They were great hosts! We were having issues with our RV, and they graciously invited us to stay extra days, and even helped with the repairs and rides to town for parts. The property is quiet and we'll keep, lots of fun visiting with our hosts and even bird watching. Would love to go back and visit again!
Great stay made even better with surprise muffins for breakfast-thanks Rita. Hope to visit again on my travels.
They were welcoming from the time we arrived until we left. They were so helpful with information about the surrounding area and their dog is a complete sweetheart. We had wine and stories in the evening which was a blast. We couldn't ask for a better start to our journey!
Munchmembers offered a very relaxing stay and were helpful with a mechanical problem we experienced. Highly recommend this host to anyone traveling thru central Georgia.
They are the sweetest hosts! We got there after dark and they were so accommodating! They immediately come out to greet us and offer to assist in any way including water and electricity. We had some great conversation and ended the evening with fresh, delicious homemade blueberry muffins. Hosts both came out to tell us goodbye and make sure we got out ok. 😊We cannot say enough great things about this stop, especially the hosts. We will definitely be back anytime we are this way.
Our host is a very nice guy and although we didn’t have much chance to talk, we hope our paths will cross again sometime. There are plenty of amenities if needed and we got an extra treat of some delicious peach jam!
This is a really nice spot.
We arrived early enough to visit before dinner. We had a wonderful time sharing stories on the front porch in the evening. This was our first BW stay and it was great! We hope that we can host Munchmembers in their travels.
Quiet, level spot in the country. New Year’s Eve fireworks made our quiet holiday night a bit more festive.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with this lovely couple. Spent hours chatting - we shared so much in common.
Hope to stay in touch and see them out on the road one day!
It took me a few days to write this review because no words seemed just right to describe how grateful we are for our stay with these wonderful people. Our kids have talked about them and our time on their property everyday since we left and beg to go back lol They have a true gift for making you feel welcome and comfortable. We hope to see them again someday on the road. The property was conveniently located and easy to get to, safe, level and power hook up was available.
We had truck trouble and were unsure when we could get back on the road. We were able to book within a few hours notice with great communication from the hosts. This couple and their dog are the sweetest!! They were so welcoming and friendly. It was wonderful to have 110 electric connection so we didn’t have to use our generator(water was offered, but we didn’t need it). They even gave us an unexpected gift. We would love to stay here again!!
Very nice folks and an awesome boondocking spot. And I love there dog she's a loving Irish Setter wish we could have stayed longer. Thy couldn't have been more friendly and hospitable.
Thanks for a great stay maybe stop aging next year.
We had a wonderful time staying one night at R Promised Land. We chatted the afternoon we arrived and had a lot fun trading stories and RV tips. Very congenial and interesting. Most definitely would stay with them again. They gave us a hand packing up and heading out the next morning.
All around wonderful hosts!
We very much enjoyed our stay R Promised Land. The host were great and the conversation was better. Very much country with a view of the neighboring horses out of our front windshield. Short drive to shopping, restaurants and Georgia State Fairgrounds and the interstate. We would like a return visit in the future and hopefully meet up with the hosts somewhere in our travels as they also travel around
Munchmembers were very nice and inviting. They helped us with setup and were a joy to chat with. We had a long day and crashed shortly after arriving. We enjoyed a restful sleep listening to the breeze though the leaves. We definitely recommend their lovely accommodations.
I thought that I left a review immediately after my stay. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Oliver the Yorkie and I would love to visit again. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic limited any contact while we were there.
This was our first experience with B. W. And it was awesome. If everyone is as friendly, helpful and interesting as munchmembers, then we will be life members for sure!
Nice quiet tree shaded spot in the country complete with the most beautiful Irish Setter I have ever seen.
The hosts were great! Showed me the inside of their camper and gave me some great lighting ideas for my rig. I enjoyed the yard with the swing and it was a perfect day to spend reading and playing music under the shade trees.
Lovely Christian couple that treated us just like family. It seemed that we had been friends for years. We got a late start the next day because we were enjoying their company so much. Our hostess is an excellent artist. If you want to be treated like family we highly recommend the "R" Promised Land. We were honored to be their first guest.
