Our property is a little over an acre with a lake and pond on 2 sides. We are on a private driveway which we share with our front door neighbors. We have our rv under cover in the side yard and you will park either under a big oak tree or under the blue sky along the concrete driveway. You'll have full use of the east dock and the side yard with the big oak tree.
Because we're in Florida and have water on 2 sides, we're unable to host children under 10 or any unleashed animals. We would hate to have anything happen because of the attraction to the water.
Pets must be cleaned up after and children supervised at all times.
We travel in our 38' class A and have no problems making a full forward u-turn to exit our place. We just circle around the big oak tree in the side yard.
Our property is over an acre, so toad parking won't be a problem.
This is the only planned trip we have so far but we're always looking for places to go on the spur of the moment. Please contact us and see if we're able to accommodate you.
We're located about 10 miles north of the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks. The whole town is a super great, all day destination with shopping and lots of dining options, i.e. Greek, seafood and just about anything you might want. It also has 2 really nice public beaches
New Port Richey also has a local beach less than 5 miles away. There's also Clearwater Beach which has been on the best USA beach list many times.
Shopping is abundant with several groceries, specialty shops and 3 Walmarts nearby
My hosts were very welcoming even though we practiced our social distancing. Hope to spend a night or two in the future so I can experience all that New Port Richey has to offer. My hosts taught me a few new things about travelling in my RV . Great stay!
After a hectic day of packing up a spot I'd been in for 5 months, doing laundry, getting groceries, gassing up, etc. I arrived in the early afternoon to a "piece of paradise" . Wonderful hosts (you never would have known that they were "new" to BW ... I was their first) and a truly special spot.
It was quiet, except for the noise of a limpkin (aka the crying bird) that amused me a couple of times during the night. They are in a relatively developed residential area, not too far from the higway and at times I could hear cars in the distance but I slept like a baby and didn't need earplugs ....
Not only did my hosts come by after I set up to "check" to make sure I was ok they encouraged me to plug in as the night was quite hot and the air conditioner was appreciated, and the next morning they helped me fix my CO sensor .... yes, there is a carport full of tools!!!
Thank you for not only your hospitality but also you help. Chicklet loved being able to roam and I felt save.
