We had a wonderful time with CascadeRambler. While we only met Thom (not his wife), he was very helpful and welcoming. Their land is a camp hidden away in one of the most beautiful forests we've ever seen. The parking site is a great level space with shade, water and electric! It was super quiet, peaceful and lovely. We spent a few hours hiking the trails in the woods around the camp and it was like a magical rain forest. Brilliant green moss hung from hundreds of years-old trees, ferns carpeted the forest floor, and the quiet was only broken up by the sounds of birds and insects. The location is just a few miles off of I-90 and a hop, skip and jump for the quaint town of North Bend, but it feels like a world a way. A wonderfully relaxing space. We'd return in a heartbeat.
========== The host and his wife run a large vacation camp and this place is amazing -- well worth what little it takes to find & get there. The grounds are extensive and beautiful . . . it's wonderfully quiet and there's water and power if you need it. The camp is three miles north of I90 (Exit 34) but be sure and get the actual address from Thom & Teena so you can punch it in on your GPS -- makes it so much easier to find the camp. Thom was super responsive to my Emails and that really helps when you're far from home and duking out the details. I'm up in this area at least twice a year (will be more often once I retire) and I look forward to staying here again. ========== JIM PETERSON -- KUNA, ID ==========
