Easy to find, quiet residential neighborhood. Friendly (as covid allows) hosts. Strong Verizon signal allowed me to mifi stream a college hoop game. A great stop over while traveling through the area.
Our hosts were very welcoming and furnished water and electric hook ups. They told us a wonderful place to visit in the area, Wakulla Springs State Park. We had a most enjoyable time at the state park. Unfortunately, do to covid we couldn’t interact with our hosts much. They are very friendly and hospitable. We want to return again. Thank you!
We stayed just one night at this great peaceful setting. Our arrival was delayed by terrible thunderstorms along our route. Thanks for allowing a very late arrival and patience in getting us setup. We appreciated your hospitality. It was wonderful to be able to unwind on the pouch and exchange stories before going to bed. And in the morning having coffee and seeing the large woodcarving of a blue heron. It was impressive. Thanks again and hope to see you again.
Can’t say enough about our hosts! After welcoming us and helping us set up, we spent a relaxing evening on their back parch just trading travel stories... I’m only sorry we couldn’t stay another day! Highly recommend stop, beautiful home, and lovey hosts..
We loved the Big Heron. There is a large painted woodcarving of a blue heron in the front yard. Wonderful space with lots of open backyard to sit and enjoy a quiet neighborhood and small stream running behind the yard. The hosts are warm, welcoming and delightful. This was our first Boondockers Welcome experience and we loved it. It was also great to have 30amp service and water if needed. Anyone staying here will be very pleased. A big thank you to our hosts Murray and Helen.
The Big Heron refers to a huge painted woodcarving of a blue heron in the front yard. Gorgeous! Lots and lots of space all around. The hosts are warm, welcoming, delightful folks with good knowledge about the area; they enjoy sharing. I hope to return some time!
We had such a nice time here. It was peaceful and quiet, just like a park. Very friendly hosts, felt like we made good friends. Hope to see them again sometime.
