South facing campsite with stunning views, bordered by wetlands and woods. Bears, porcupines, moose, black flies, ticks, and more, all live here! Please be aware that it’s very quiet at night. The crickets can get rowdy, though. Motorhomes towing anything WILL NOT make it up a steep section of our driveway!! Toads MUST be disconnected prior to arrival!! If you are towing a camper, engage your 4 wheel drive or low gear. Our level stone parking pad can accommodate an up to 35’ RV, or an up to 25’ trailer or 5th wheel. Our well cannot accommodate a water hookup, but we can fill a few drinking water jugs to get you to your next water fill up. PLEASE NOTE!! We have four gentle dogs whose fenced yard is behind a garage that is parallel to your site. They will bark (alot!) and you will hear them. They quiet down though when everyone is settled. Your site is in full sun and often gets a nice breeze. Don’t leave your awning out if you are not around as we can get strong gusts from time to time. Suggested Local Attractions: It is beautiful everywhere you go here in the Upper Valley! A 5 minute drive, will take you to a fresh water lake and a beach where you can swim or launch your watercraft. No room for RV parking here though. Nearby are many lakes and the CT River. Several nearby (10 minutes) mountains have been preserved for easy to challenging day hiking. We are within a half hour drive of an Appalachian Trailhead, and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. There are loads of day trips all around us in VT and NH...the Lost River Gorge, the Flume, the Kangamangus Highway, country fairs, farms, museums and more. Motorcycle riding routes abound…we have a Goldwing trike. There is also a Walmart and Shaws within a 15 minute drive.

House Rules

To help us protect a vulnerable, immunocompromised family member, we ask that you wear a mask in our presence. Please remember to ALWAYS keep a good distance the whole time you are here. Please help us to stay safe. This doesn’t mean we aren’t happy to sit and have a chat if you have the time and inclination. Please, no outdoor cooking or fires of any kind. YOU MUST DISCONNECT YOUR TOAD BEFORE ENTERING OUR DRIVEWAY!! Please disconnect before you arrive. If you are towing a cargo trailer, feel free to contact us prior to requesting a stay, as we may be able to accommodate you. There is no trash pickup here, so please take all trash with you. But you may add to our compost pile with “organic, biodegradable matter.” We ask that only children 12 and older come stay with us. Please be vigilant as we have many unyielding farm implements, steep banks from which to tumble and lots of hiding places that may contain wasps and other nasties.

We spent 2 glorious nights with Vicky and Bob. They did everything possible to make our stay wonderful. Because of my negligence in reading the excellent instructions, we did not unhook our towed vehicle and also did not take an adequate run at the hill to get up to MountainViews, we did not make the hill. As the directions clearly state, unhook BEFORE attempting the hill. Bob was so helpful in getting us up the hill. Vicky is a fount of RV tips and she also helped me navigate the Boondockers site as well as google maps. I learned so much during our stay. We very much enjoyed the above ground pool as it was piping hot during our stay. We were so grateful to be able to enjoy the cool water! We also enjoyed Kale and peas from the garden. The views were spectacular and the stars at night!! Incredible! We had a fabulous time at Mountain Views. Thanks!!

What an awesome stay at Bob and Vicky’s property. The view is absolutely gorgeous from the campsite. The host were very accommodating and friendly. Such a sweet couple and extremely kind. I joined them for a evening in the park listing to Jazz music and having a meal. Bob spent the next morning taking me on local hiking trails and showing me the area. This was such a wonderful experience and would someday like to return for another stay. Thank you both.
