Beautiful Lawrence county is 1 hour and half south of Franklin Tn and Nashville area. We are home to old order amish, historic downtown, and Davy Crockett state park.
We have a circle drive and space out back by barn to turn around and hook up. Plenty of room not tight. Care will need to be looked at for some limbs, and or low telephone line, but most rigs would never touch it. There are two driveways the second drive past mailbox has higher clearance than the mailbox driveway. The mailbox driveway easily clears our airstream. But our rig is 9' 10" tall and there is room to spare. No worries the second drive takes semis in and out for the fields and hay wagons with big heights.
Tows maybe parked with your rig they will be off the road on the farm.
Amish country, the park trails, and downtown
This was a great stay! Easy access in a very pretty setting. Close to provisions; Walmart, Kroger, etc. We didn’t get an opportunity to meet our hosts personally, but had great communication via the app. Would certainly stay again!
Very helpful and gracious hosts! We got our rig stuck, trying to turn around in the field - the ground was soft due to recent snow melting! They tried to pull us out and even called a neighbor who finally pulled us out with his tractor — all in the dark! What an experience! We were blessed with hosts who were kind and ready to help in a moment’s notice! We will be forever grateful for their assistance.
Great hosts, although their many recommendations for things to do kept us so busy, we hardly had enough time to get to know them well enough. While in Lawrenceburg, based on host recommendations, we walked through Davy Crockett State Park and hiked to the Stillhouse Hollow waterfalls. Our lab LOVED the farm, and loved playing with their 2 dogs, Beau and Bob.
Thanks!
Rohling Family Farms greeted us heartily and let us fill up on water-they had electric available but we did not need it. Welcoming couple, would highly recommend a stop here on travels!
Our hosts Mike+Karen-in-TN are such wonderful people! They met us when we pulled in and helped us get set up. They surprised us with soup and strawberry jam gifts, both absolutely delicious! We finished the soup right away and saved some jam for the road. We swapped travel stories and wished we had more time to talk and that the COVID wouldn’t have kept us at arm’s distance. Overall we had a great stay and would love to return someday.
We actually never got to stay with our hosts as we had trouble with our towing vehicle. But they were very nice about our having to cancel. I’m hoping we can meet back up in the very near future as soon as we can fix our truck issues.
Great stay with interesting and kind hosts. We needed a place close to our daughters til our RV site reservation was available. They allowed us to stay a couple of nights. We were able to have a couple of talks sharing experiences and areas we had visited. Thanks for all the info!
This was our first experience with BW, and it was amazing! Our hosts were miraculously able to accommodate us with a same day request, and they generously offered us amenities, but all we needed was a quiet, safe place to park & sleep (having spent the previous night too near I-40, and hearing traffic all night long). We had a wonderful night's sleep at our host's beautiful place! It was easy to find with their excellent directions, and easy to park & level. They told us about many interesting things to see and do in their community that make us want to come back when we have more time to explore. We would love to be able to visit with them as well.
These hosts were great. Met us upon arrival and had some great conversation. Nice level spot with super convenient hookups. Great quiet spot with plenty of services nearby. Very food stopover for us. 😎
Plenty of open space and hosts were so helpful. Love their dogs! Lots to do in the area. We enjoyed a beautiful hike at the David Crockett State Park.
Thanks M and K for your gracious hospitality. It was very much appreciated after 10 days of dry camping with ALL the amenities -- power, water, and a quiet and relaxing spot to camp. Easy to find and park, right in front of their barn where the hookups were. Our hosts met us and helped us get situated. Lots to see and do in the area and thanks to K we're visiting a few things we didn't know about. We hope to stop by again next year on our way next year!
Our two night stay with Mike and Karen was thoroughly enjoyable. The parking area was level, making hookup a breeze. Enjoyed beverages and a meal with them on their lovely patio exchanging travel plans.
Their hospitality will always be remembered as one of the highlights of our journey! And loved Beau and Bob, their two adorable standard poodles!
These awesome hosts were super sweet and extra accommodating, not only offering water and electricity but also allowed me to stay an extra night. There was plenty of room for my large 5th wheel and dually on this immaculate farm. I enjoyed getting to know the hosts over cheese and wine and yummy chocolate/lemon almonds, (while social distancing outside 12 feet apart instead of six :) Loved their adorable standard poodles Bo and Bob who were so friendly! I highly recommend this wonderful Boondockers Welcome location and would definitely stay here again.
Mike & Karen’s host location is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing!
We received excellent directions - always appreciated. And communication regarding our stay was prompt.
Our hosts gave us choices as to where to park near the barn. All of the area is flat and extremely easy to navigate.
Our first evening we enjoyed sitting outside (social distancing of course) with tea, crackers & cheese , etc that our hosts brought over. A nice visit with them and their adorable poodles that are the cutest ever.
Sadly the rest of our visit was rainy which prevented us socializing outside.
Once we pulled in Mike helped us get settled
The area is a great location and nice level site. Karen welcomed us with a jar of my favorite jam, sooo good
We hope to see them again

Could not ask for friendlier or more helpful hosts. My pup loved playing with their lovebug of a poodle. Great spot as home base to so many historic sites, stores, falls and Amish community
Our hosts were very gracious and accommodating and were also very respectful of Covid-19 social distancing.
We were provided a level place to set up with awesome views, offered fresh water if we needed it and were also provided a 30 amp electrical hookup. We ran our AC during the hot parts of our 2 day stay and offered compensation but our hosts refused to consider it! They also provided beverages, snacks and homemade pizza (yum!) while we were there as well as great entertainment and conversation. Their 2 dogs (Bob and Beau) were a delight to have around and really entertaining to watch!
Our GPS delivered us to the property with no issues and our 36 foot (12'8" high) coach and toad easily maneuvered the entrance using the second entry as described in the host description.
We highly recommend our hosts (great people!) and would definitely stay here again!
An absolutely wonderful time! Beautiful location and warm and engaging hosts. We enjoyed a wonderful evening conversation with our hosts. Hope that our paths cross again someday!
We had a great time getting to know our hosts. They were very friendly and super helpful. A great introduction to Amish country with lots of farm-fresh groceries.
Nice to have plenty of good grocery and hardware stores within a couple miles. The Walmart is walking distance.
Plenty of space to maneuver but be very careful with low phone/cable lines and some trees when entering and exiting the property.
We loved our stay and hope to visit again. Two thumbs up.
This home has the most beautiful setting! We were able to sit under large shade trees and enjoy the peaceful scenery. It also is very close and convenient to town. Our hosts were not home, but still let us come stay on their property and hook up to their water. They told us about the area and what we should see and do. We would like to return sometime and meet our hosts and tell them in person how much we enjoyed our stay!
This was our first time using Boondockers Welcome and these folks set the bar high. They were on their way out of town when we requested a stay and still welcomed us with open arms. Our hosts were very knowledgeable and gave us a run down of the "must sees" for the area. We are forever grateful that we were allowed to stay on this beautiful property.
We loved our stop and they were the most friendly hosts we've encountered so far.
It was a beautiful spot and would love to come back. We were even greeted with some homemade strawberry jam!
Loved our overnight at this bucolic respite. Friendly and fun hosts that gave us a wonderful welcome. Hope to see them again.
Nice location, close to Walmart, etc.
We enjoyed a couple quiet nights to rest up on our travels and get supplies.
Even though not home, the host was accommodating and stayed in touch.
We recommend this site,.
