This was a great, easy overnight stay! Easy check in and a large grassy area for parking. Beautiful grounds for a little evening walk. Convenient to many stores for quick errands. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
Lots of rain with the big polar vortex rain that came down. Standing water in places, bit gravel under it. Had no traction problems with a 40' Bluebird.
Quiet considering proximity to interstate.
Even though the the roads are right there it was not too bad. We got a great nights sleep. Thanks for the stay
A little noisy but good access to I-10. It was a bit cold but this is a cold week for Florida. Loved the Batmobiles and old cars. Sandy at front desk was awesome. Worth it to stay here and visit museum.
Easy access from the highway, without the highway noise. Large open field - there were 3 of us and we all had plenty of room. Wish I had gotten there earlier to enjoy the museum. Next Time!! Pretty park like area to walk outside.
Awesome place to stay staff was very helpful and responsive. we rolled into late to see the museum but we will be back
Check in was easy and staff were very friendly. Very much enjoyed our quiet stay. The grounds are well kept and overall level. Nice area for a walk in the evening. Thank you so much!
The grounds around the museum are nice for walking. The rv parking area is flat with some shade. The entry gate is closed at night and offers some security. There is a walk through gate. We enjoyed our dinner at the Farm to Table across the street. The museum is interesting. We would stay here again.
The host were very friendly and accommodating. We were disappointed that we were not able to arrive in time to visit the car museum. The grounds were very nice and quite, overall a pleasant stay. We look forward to another visit in the future.
What a wonderful overnight we experienced! TACM is a beautiful place- the grounds are just lovely. We were directed to an open grassy area where 2 other RV's were parked. We all had plenty of room - everyone parked with respect to one another. We did not have a chance to visit the museum but we hope to at another time. The people that we spoke to who had arrived earlier and went to the museum said that it was well worth it.
Thank you TACM for allowing us to have a safe and peaceful evening. For dinner, we walked across the road to the Farm to Table Restaurant, and WOW!! so fresh and delicious. I wish I could visit there again! Once again...thank you for opening your grounds to Boondockers!
This place is was a lot of fun and a safe quite place to stay. We broke down on our way there and Sherrie went out of her way to make sure we had a safe place to spend the night. We also visited the Museum and it was really full of amazing fun history. There is so much stuff that we did not have time to see t all. you could spend the day in here. We had a level grassy spot that was sold ground to park the night and we were fenced in a secure safe location all to our selves.
We really want to give a huge thank you to Sharrie and TACM for taking such great care of our family.
Unfortunately, we arrived very close to closing time and didn’t get to experience the museum, but the grounds were very beautiful and we feel very safe there. Highly recommend.
What this place lacks in peace & quiet (highway noise) it makes up for in the uniqueness of the museum. Even if your not a big car fan, there are enough other items in the museum to make it interesting for most anyone. Great place to visit!
What a great place thoroughly enjoyed the place More than just an Auto Museum. Just reopened when I arrived so needless to say No crowds Plenty of open space and level. Host was very Helpful had the place to myself with 3 hours of enjoying the collection. Loved the outboard motor collection, There is something for everyone regardless of age. Highly recommend this stop. again Thank you
This is a good place for a quick night. The old cars and pianos were cool and though the spot is just a grassy lawn, it's alright if you can run your generator or if it isn't too hot. There's a cool farm to table restaurant across the street with outdoor seating and a Publix, Subway, Wendy's, and Chinese place that are about a quarter of a mile away.
Mary and the gang at the TAM are the nicest there is and a perfectly quiet, tree shaded lot with plenty of room to park our big ole toyhauler. Didn't get a chance to visit the museum but on our list for next time for sure. Thanks again Mary for your hospitality!
This was a very unique stay. They have a museam that contains outstanding cars and also, anything from sports memorabilia to restored pianos. Something for everyone. Also plenty of spaced to park in grassy area that is locked and secures at night. There was also some water buffalo next to the property. We also saw a bald eagle near the buffalo.
What a great place to overnight! We were directed to a giant flat open area with some beautiful mature trees. Access was super easy. We would stay here again... but next time I’ll make sure to put some time in the schedule to properly go through the museum because there’s A LOT to see!
Beautiful park like setting convenient to I-10 and an amazing museum. This awesome collection starts with the horseless carriage and follows automotive history to the present day and beyond.
The Tallahassee Automobile Museum was safe, secure and a great place to stay. Make sure you allow yourself a couple of hours to visit the museum. Start in the back and see the carriage that carried President Lincoln's casket then come forward to see the newer cars. It is not just cars. There are guns, tractors, bikes, sports equipment, radio, etc. Very interesting
The Tallahassee Automobile Museum was a fun place to visit. Collection after collection...cars, outboard motors, pocket knives, bat mobiles, golf clubs, and on, and on! And if that’s not enough - Abraham Lincoln’s hearse! Very unique place to wander through! Well worth the $15 admission!
We stayed on the grounds of the museum. We were given directions on where to park our RV and tow vehicle by the friendly lady at the hostess counter at the entrance to the museum. We had no problem leveling without blocks or levelers. There were 4 other RV’s for the overnight. It rained quite steady for a couple of hours, but the grassy grounds stayed firm, and presented no problems. My husband and I would highly recommend a visit to the museum as well as a nice overnight on the grounds!
A huge area along with 4 other overnighters. Great to see the museum, something for everyone, so many different collectibles. Our stay was great, even though it rained, the museum is indoors.
Museum has many fine exhibits and parking was easy, spacious and level. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend seeing the museum.
