Thank you to our wonderful hosts! This was our first experience with Boondockers Welcome and it was a wonderful stay. They moved their coach so we can stay in their spot. It was like being next to a park with a beautifully manicured lawn with a grove of trees. We saw deer, ducks and birds all around. They even had lawn chairs around a fire pit with firewood for our use. Their property has direct access to a walking trail that we used to go on our daily jog. We can’t thank them enough for their generosity and great conversation. We definitely will drop by and say hello next time we come through.
My fiancé and I enjoyed a 2 night escape from the stay-home quarantine. Fixtrauma’s property is beautiful and peaceful. It was very helpful to have power as the temperature was unseasonably warm. The setting is park like, grass, trees, birds. The creek is along the bike path. We brought our bikes and rode the path to the river and around the local roads. My fiancé rd his bike about 15 minutes to get into town to pick up a few things. Fixtrauma and his wife are very kind and friendly. We enjoyed spending time chatting with them. We look forward to returning soon.
As with many RV'ers, we were suffering from a bit of cabin fever. Found Boondockers Welcome and found this site nearby (about 1 hour from us). The setting was like being in a city park, and we had the entire property to ourselves. There is a nice paved trail that follows a creek at the edge of the property, and is great for riding bikes, or as we did, walking the dog.
Host had full hookups including 50a electrical near his rig, and standard 110 outlets scattered throughout the property, and had a dump station for us to use before we left.
If you are in need of a friendly and comfortable place to getaway for a day to two, you cannot go wrong with Canopy Grove!
This was a perfect stopover on our way south through Oregon. We didn't have any extra time to linger, but we wish we could have. The location was easy to find and very quiet. It's a sweet spot! The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We definitely hope to stay here again!
