We have a beautiful 47 acre property. Our home is in a valley surrounded by trees. It is quiet and and peaceful. You can hear a train about a mile a way and the birds. We have pastures and horses. Close by, we have Cabelas and Camping World. There are water parks in Faribault to the north and Owatonna to the south. We're about an hour south of the twin cities.

Location

Access Road Conditions: We live on a gravel road. Driveway is 1/3 mile long, curvy, hilly and lined with trees. We don't have a problem with our 31 ft motor home and are often pulling a horse trailer. Very tall rigs may have trouble in the trees. There is room to turn around but would involve some backing. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We should have space by your rig for a tow vehicle.

Retired country lovers Details: Dave loves to ride horse, hike, bike and keep busy and active. Peggy loves to swim, read and cook. We both love traveling and seeing new places. Our family is very important to us. Our two children are married and they each have a teenage boy and a teenage girl. Home Town: We live in the country near Medford, MN. We have some acreage with woods, a creek and a river. Faribault, MN is about 15 minutes north of us and Owatonna, MN is about 15 minutes south of us. We are roughly an hour south of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Since we retired in 2017, we have enjoyed going south in the winter and seeing this beautiful country of ours. We're looking forward to seeing different places and new experiences with Boondockers Welcome!

DD Valley is a very nice place to sit back and relax. The host is very accommodating and helpful in getting you to his place and for parking your RV in the proper place. There are some gravel roads but in good condition. The driveway is very tree lined but beautiful. Some larger RV's may be tight but the host is very helpful with that situation. I highly recommend.

Our Hosts made sure we understood the low clearance on the route that GPS units come up with. Following our Host’s advice made our “getting there” completely uneventful. Parking for our rig was super simple. It is so quiet and we slept so well. We had some rain and drizzle. Once the precipitation decreased to a mist, the Hosts took time to meet for casual conversations. They are very nice people. I hope we meet again.

We enjoyed meeting the Hosts and we hope we see them again, a really nice couple. Our 25 ft class c fit comfortably on the gravel parking near the 15 amp outlet. The electric was welcome. We slept very well. Thank You for being BDW Hosts.

Peggy and Dave are fantastic hosts on this slice of MN heaven! Their beautiful property is green, rolling, peaceful and with 2 horses and Bobbi the dog it checks all the boxes. I could have stayed for days. As a bonus they have electric. I really enjoyed talking with them and hope to meet up with them inTX. Thanks again guys, I’ll see you in the south;)!
