We are located in town. The town is located on lake Superior
street parking if no room in driveway
Pebble Beach, Mink Creek Falls
Though our hosts were away and we only asked a few hours prior arriving, they let us stay in their flat driveway and use power in a most peaceful quiet neighborhood. Walked around Penn Lake Trail which is nearby. Thank you so much.
Walked to the beach, found excellent Chinese takeout, had wifi and electric.
Thanks for letting us stay when you weren’t there.
We only spent one night at this location as we were headed further east and had made promises ! Nice easy back in site .Host offers water and 15 amp electric ! Big Thankyou!
I think Google maps needs to visit Marathon and do a re shoot! She had us going in many directions until I pulled out the trusty old iPad and did an actual visual of the various streets and was able to plot my own route through the maze!
Although these hosts were away they certainly provided more than asked for so we were pleasantly surprised. Their driveway easily can hold two rigs and the street would hold another!
The space was exactly what we needed perfect for a night to rest with our ac on.
The host wasn't there but he made sure that we knew everything to get set up properly.
Hosts were so accommodating as we shuffled around a move. Offered wifii access which is so great in northern Ontario and able to plug in to make coffee in the morning. We had another family overnight and had lots of room to easily park both of our trailers. Had time to check out Pebble Beach on shoreline which is recommended.
Excellent hosts. Fun and the lady of the house is a Newfie, what more could you ask for 😁. We recommend this place for all boondockers looking for a stay with some fantabulous host !
Very helpful host, (when we woke up in the morning with a significant amount of snow on the ground ( 8" by 10h00 am)), they offer all the support to help us get out of this situation and to finally get home with our little travel trailer. ouffffff what a drive !!!!!!!
Cpsigmtr was very accommodating. Propane refill at Canadian Tire, fuel, and groceries all conveniently in town.
You cannot ask for anything more then the welcome I received. Thank you for your generosity and I look forward to seeing you on my way back!
This is our second time here. Great hosts who were concerned about our safety regarding the snowstorm that hit Northern Ontario and the COVID lockdown. We crossed into Ontario just in time. These hosts kept us up to date with what was happening. Thank you for a great place to stay, safely and your friendship. You welcomed us with open arms Covid style.
Until we meet again.
The hosts are wonderful people - friendly and extremely helpful!
The location is easily accessible and we had no issues parking our 45’ long truck and trailer in the driveway and staying connected! That was a bonus!
They even helped diagnose a flaky battery disconnect switch and design a clever solution to help restore battery power to our RV!
Very welcoming and accommodating hosts.
We had a problem with our RV. It was not a problem to arrive late. Nice short stay. Very quiet. Really appreciated their hospitality. Thank you!
What welcoming excellent hosts. This is what boondocker family is all about. Kind, friendly and helpful. Sharing stories over a campfire. Even though we social distanced because of Covid we were welcomed with open arms. Thank you for the great stay.

Great location, very friendly hosts, lovely quiet street. Would highly recommend.
The hosts J&J were welcoming and hospitable offering us anything we might need. Hookup, water WIFI. lots of space in the driveway. What more do you need. Thank you J&J.
Really NICE welcome after a long day. Straight and level parking, didn’t need to unhook the towed. Power line was waiting for us. Spend a great evening chatting with these interesting and wonderful folks around a warm fire. It was great! They made us feel very welcome and comfortable and we would love to stay here again.
I would love to thank you both for the wonderful hospitality. It's people like you that make our trip possible, the kindness and generosity were top notch. We wish you well on your journey and hope to cross paths again soon.

Short walk to Pebble Beach definitely worth it.
Super hospitalité!! Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable et tranquille. Si nous devons retourner dans cette région un jour ça sera un arrêt a coup sur !!! Merci pour tout.
If you want to meet a very nice nelpful couple and spend a "quiet" night this is the place to stop. Thanks again for your hospitality.
Extremely nice people! Offered us power, water, wifi, even washing machine and shower. Site is in town but was easy to get to with a 30ft motor home. Would stay there again!
Nice welcome after a long day. Level parking, didn’t need to unhook the toad - even cooked some hotdogs on the back fire pit. Wonderful sense of humour.
John and Jean are good people! Had power waiting for us when we pulled up, let us get some quality time with their three dogs, let us get set up for the night then offered us some beer and conversation until we were ready to turn in. Great people to stay with, and after 10 it was so quiet!
A great place to stop on the Lake Superior route through Northern Ontario. Found the place easily with the directions I got and I arrived to a warm welcome and very helpful guidance backing into place for the setup. While I was blocking the trailer a power cord showed up ready to go.
Had a nice visit with great people. I will definitely stop again on my next trip on the Lake Superior route through Northern Ontario.

We have been on the road for 7 months or what was supposed to be a year long trip. But as we all know the world has changed and we are heading home to PEI. We were fortunate enough to find a few campsites open before Thunder Bay, ON, but after that most were closed. We found this Host and we could not have been luckier!!! The parking is level and easy, we have a 26" TC & they offered for us to plug in. Here's the best part! We have been traveling across Canada pretty quickly considering the travel restrictions, only stopping for gas and groceries. We over looked the propane.......😐. Theses kind folks called a family member and they brought a tank. How great was that????? It was cold, so we were very grateful. These are hard times for many people, when you see acts of kindness like this, you know we are going to be alright.
With great thanks,
