We live in between Alliance and Salem Ohio. Now like most small towns there are some attractions that are interesting to some however we've been here so long we don't think of them being anything special. There is a castle in Alliance that people like to check out and there are some really nice state and city parks that are relatively close. Salem is an Old Town and somewhat historical. We are in a non zoned area meaning we can pretty much make all the noise we want so don't feel shy about firing up your generator if needed. You'll have access to a 15 amp plug that is connected to our garage and you'll be parked quite a ways away from the garage so I might have to throw an extension cord to you. We have a fire ring in the backyard that you can put your lawn chairs around and burn whatever you bring with you as long as it's not plastic or trash(of course paper and cardboard is fine)
You can let your pets run all around the yard however, again , are on a very busy state route so hopefully the pets are very obedient or they will get run over if they get out into the street. We live within a rock throw of subway sandwich shop and easy walking distance of a Family Dollar and a Carquest Auto Parts. And when I say easy walking I mean less than 300 yards to all 3.
Heidi is a smoker so no problems for you to do the same.
If you have kids, there's not a lot for them to do here but they are more than welcome to explore just be really cautious of keeping the toddlers within Arm's Reach because we live on a very busy state route and traffic is flying by. And that goes for your pets too.... We definitely don't want to see Rover or Felix get hurt... Please pick up after your pets.
I work from home so I'm pretty much here all the time.
We have 3 large rolling garbage cans at the back of our house. Please feel free to dispose of trash as needed...
Typical driveway with a turnaround. We have enough room for you to pull straight in off of the very busy state route that we live on. Don't be afraid to swing wide into the turn lane the clear the curb on either side of our driveway opening to get into our Drive. We are at a busy intersection even though we are out in the country. Once you're in the driveway you'll have to jockey around a bit to get backed in. But it can be done. We have a gravel driveway. If you check out any of our YouTube videos that shows our house you can kind of get an idea of what it looks like. I would say that you could back in off the road however we are right at a busy intersection and there is lots of traffic out there. Unless you come in late at night. Then it's so dark you may not be able to see. LOL
We can only do Class C and Class B motorhomes. Of course we could also do Camper vans.
We are in and out of our house all the time AND We do a lot of last minute trips in the summer, but feel free to give us a shout and see if we can accommodate you
I dunno, we lived here so long none of it seems special to us.. Lol
