If you are looking to get away to a quiet spot surrounded by farmland then this is it. We loved the spot and there was plenty of room to roam and gorgeous Mountain View’s.
Nice location, easy in & out, level grass, nice view....thanks!
Just what we were looking for! Safe, quiet, and a beautiful view. We were able to leave our motorhome and explore the area! Thanks TankBishop! Bruce and Patti
beautiful spot, so easy in and out. Second time camping here and loved it! Andrew
I stayed at Bishops in Guildhall for a week and was very happy with it! There is plenty of land, and it is pretty level. With it being so open, there was a good view of the surrounding mountains.
Wonderful location for seeing everything we came to the north country for! Level, newly cut grass field to park in. Our solar panels loved the sun! Very quiet and peaceful. The stars are amazing at night in this dark spot. I wish I could post a picture of our view so you can see how lovely it is. Close to Lancaster for shopping and dining, and The Cog Railway for a ride to the summit of Mount Washington. Also close to Franconia Notch and Lincoln for a ride up Loon Mountain on the gondola. I would LOVE to come back and stay again sometime. Thanks so much for your hospitality!
Enjoyed the briefest if stays in a wonderfully groomed and almost perfectly flat side yard between a rustic farmhouse and massive cornfield.
Never had a chance to visit with my host mostly due to the brevity of my stay (only about 12 hours overnight) but with the current COVID situation was probably for the best.
The only caveat would be cellular - this is Verizon country and if, like me, you rely on AT&T you might want to have a backup plan for this part of Vermont.
I highly recommend adding this to your list o safe, comfortable and reliable stops.
Loved the large fairly flat mowed field and the great view of the sunsets. It was my first time living only on solar power, so nothing to block the rays was perfect. (Learned I need more panels, or batteries, or something.)
A perfectly flat ,open field with spectacular views of the mountains, just outside of a beautiful , quaint, Vermont village. About 15 minutes from all the services one might need in Lancaster NH. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much!
