Quiet easy to find place. We would stay here again definitely.
Easy hookup for 50 amp and large dirt-packed site. Everything was simple and convenient. Thanks for a great stop!
Stayed overnight on property. Easy to find - close to I-75. It was quiet and having hookups for running A/C was great with the Florida heat. Host lives offsite but Ron was there to help me get settled. Would stay again if in the area. Thanks.
Our host was very quick to respond and let us know that he would be out of town but that there would be tentants there to meet us which there were. They were very helpful and nice. We stayed here 2 nights and were grateful for hookups with the 88 degree heat. Thanks for everything.
Fran responded right away and accepted our reservation. We need to stop halfway from St. Augustine to Key Largo. The spot is very safe and easy access, right off the road. Ron was on site ready to help, very friendly! Caught up on some sleep and then found Walton Rocks beach which is an off leash dog beach! Perfect for our 5 furkids! Highly recommend staying here for the privacy and access to everything! Thanks again Fran!! 🙏
This was our first Boondockers Welcome stay & my husband & I were very happy with our stay.
Excellent communication from our host. Flat level parking spot. Safe, secure, quiet & with water & electric hook up & a dump station. Would recommend this host & location. Thank you Fran for a warm welcome into Boondockers welcome!
This a great stop on my way north for the weekend. The Host was very accomodating allowing me set up my outdoor office space and very helpful with local attractions. The beach recommendation was awesome. The only downside for me is there was little to no cell signal there for Tmobile and my mobile wifi so getting work done on my computer wasn't really possible.
The turn into Homesteaders Cove was easy to miss(for us anyway); so we had to drive around the block. When we made it into the place, there was a nice gentleman there to direct us on where to park. We stayed here three nights just to check out the surrounding areas. We were hooked up to electricity, water, and there's a dumped station for us to use before we left. The lot was pretty level. The esthetics of the place is isn't great, but that didn't bother us. There's actually plenty to do; we found a great seafood restaurant with the most amazing dessert, there's also a spectacular beach, and a great park to walk our dogs.
Thank you Homesteaders Cove for letting stay.
Fran was kind enough to let's stay 2 nights while visiting my brother who lives in town. It was great to have the option to hook up power and water and we'll worth the small fee. Thanks again Fran and onsite host Ron!
I really enjoyed my stay here. I didn’t get to meet Fran but I really got the sense that he’s one of those people who will leave the world better than he found it. Ron is just awesome, very interesting and charming individual. I like the site, too. It has a residence, some outbuildings, and serves as a storage lot for boats and RVs. I felt right at home and will look forward to staying here if and when I’m in the area again. Thanks very much for your hospitality!
Nice residential location. Safe and accommodating. Great to communicate and quick to respond. Will stay here again for sure. Hook ups were wonderful!
We arrived at the site and was promptly met by the on site host. He showed us where to park and told us how the previous RV backed into the spot. We are a 46 foot 5th wheel, we were able to get it into the spot on our 2nd try. ;)
Both of the on site host were extremely curious and friendly! We enjoyed the conversations with them!
We didn't have time to enjoy the area, maybe next time.
We would definitely stay again!
Good location close to everything... good hookups.. Ron who I believe lives on the property was very helpful..Hey safe space to stay overnight
Not the most scenic place to stay… As it says in the host description himself… level… Electricity and water available… Close to beaches… Well worth it
Very nice host. It was a good place to stay, we had electricity and water at a convenient location. We were able to dump before leaving.
Dont judge the book by its cover. This spot is quiet, safe, and close to all the beaches. We even walked our dogs to a huge park with tennis, pickleball, disc golf, kayaking, hiking, and fishing.
Everybody was very nice to us and our puppy. They were accommodating and it was a great place to stay!
We were impressed by the quick response and cordial treatment. Ron suggested a local restaurant that was awesome. We are so glad we took his recommendation. We would stay there again. Nothing fancy but convenient and amenities that were appreciated.
Fran was easy to communicate with and Ron was a great host. He came out to check on us when we were working out a water filter issue after dark and offered his help. He recommended a great restaurant nearby which we will definitely try next time we stay there. Used the 50 amp and water hookup service. Will definitely stay again. Thanks Fran and Ron!
The property is near a number of things and Fran was very accommodating.
The owner was easy to communicate with. Very responsive. Our stay was for 2 nights. For $15/day we were able to hookup to water and 50 amp electricity which was wonderful since it was 97’ degrees outside. The on property host was a great welcome committee and made us feel comfortable right away. Gave us a good recommendation to get a delicious fish dinner at King Neptune a couple of miles down the road. The property was able to accommodate our 40ft 5th wheel.
Owner was really quick and easy to communicate with. The property was at excellent location to highways and stores. Caretaker of the property was a really cool and unique fellow. He made us feel immediately welcome and put us in a great spot on the property. We would really enjoy coming back for another stay.
Stayed 2 nights, safe, quiet spot. Close to the ocean. Ate at a great little authentic mexican restaurant.
Great stay great place to walk the dogs close to many things. Really enjoyed talking to Fran and the care taker Ron. Would definetly be on my list again.
Fast response to request and additional questions. Site is close to the interstate as well as beaches and has full hookups. Got the chance to meet the Host and he was great.
Easy to find. Plenty of space. Very convenient water and electric. Will definitely consider staying again when traveling this way.
Easy in, easy out. Very convenient hook ups. Dump on the way out. Windy days when we were there but we didn't notice it where we set up at. Quiet. Short drive to stores, restaurants. Host as well as his tenants nice people!
Great location! Convenient to many things. Safe, quiet neighborhood.
Easy to access. The gentleman that came out to help me was so kind. Easy to set up. 30 amp and 50 amp and water available. Only $15. About 20 minutes to the beautiful beaches. Ensure you have a little mat to put down underneath your stairs because you’ll be parking on well packed dirt but if it rains you’ll want something to step on before you step on your stairs. Thanks again Fran!
This was our first Boondockers stay. Homesteaders Cove was quick to respond to our request and communicate info about our stay. His place is close to everything in town. His caretaker even gave us dinner recommendations which was excellent and showed us around the place. It was a quiet, safe place to stay, with electric, water and a place to dump our grey and black tanks. Thank You Homesteaders Cove!!
We have a bunch of family in Stuart but none have property that we could park at. The parks in the area are limited & fill up fast. All we need is a quiet home base & this property is perfect. Fran & the folks at the property were all flexible & friendly. It worked well for our dogs & the hookups were an amazing bonus!!!!
Will definitely be back!
We enjoyed our stay. It gave us a really great location to visit a portion of the East coast of Florida in am area we where had not stayed. Our hosts we're super.
Very welcoming people and all the facilities that one needs. It is an easy drive to the ocean beaches and many shops and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay and would come here again.
We stayed here for several nights thanks to the flexibility of the host. The only thing to be aware of, which is no fault of the host, is that we were not able to get ANY service here from Verizon or Sprint. Very weird as it's not far from town at all. The location was great and host was kind and flexible.
We were so grateful to have a spot in Stuart for a couple of days to explore the area. It's a beautiful city with lots of fun and interesting things to do. It was very hot and humid during our stay so we were so happy to have 30 amp electric to run our air conditioner. The water was good quality and we didn't use the available dump station. The site caretaker was very kind and helpful. Our Verizon wifi and cell service were very spotty. Thank you Franwilson!!
Thank you. We had a great stay. Would love to come back some day. Did not get to meet Fran but Ron was there and helped us out.
We had a delightful stay! The owner communicated quickly and was so kind.
The gentleman who lives on site was gracious and gave us helpful recommendations on his favorite restaurant and beaches! The fried conch at the restaurant was delicious. The beaches were beautiful!
We stayed 3 nights and appreciate their hospitality!
This was a perfect spot for a few nights to check out nearby Jonathan Dickinson State Park! It was a nice quiet level spot that felt very safe to leave the rig while we were away! It was so nice meeting franwilson and his tenant who showed us where to park. Thanks for a great stay!
Host was on top of supplying info. Site is very safe, plenty of room, 50 amp, water and dump. We came in off the highway - turning left with a 35 foot class A. Driveway comes up fast and almost missed the turn in -- had to back up a little to make the turn. (very busy road).
The on site guy was very nice and helpful. Would stay again !!!!!!!!!! THANKS
This is an amazing lication.! We were wanting to visit friends in Palm City, this location allowed us to be only 15 minutes away from them. Bonus of this location is that it is close to many beaches and great restaurants that provide outdoor eating with social distancing!
The site is level and full hookup!
Thank you for sharing your place with us!
We enjoyed our three night stay at this location. We were able to have water and electric hook -ups which was really nice. We were able to drive up the coast and stop and walk in the sand and see the ocean. Was pleasant to hear the bells from a near by church. They were not loud just so peaceful. We enjoyed meeting our host and also his friend Ron. Interesting watching Ron work and talking to him.
We had a pleasant stay, easy access to beaches, riverwalk, and parks. Shepard’s park is a great place to view the sunset, we had the pleasure to listen to bagpipes as the sun set, an awesome surprise. Thank you Ron for meeting us and showing us where to park. You get some traffic noise but not enough to bother us. Would definitely return!
We stayed at their boutique motel. It is such a cute area and super cute motel. It was perfectly equipped for our rv. Super friend hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We followed the hosts recommendation for a nearby beach and found a secluded spot that we could enjoy with our dogs. We also followed their recommendations for local restaurants on the water with live music. Excellent experience.
As others note plan B is a great little set up with amenities, quiet, just minutes from beach and most anything. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Definitely stay again.
Enjoyed sitting around talking. Fran and Nancy were very helpful. Enjoyed the outdoor shower
We stayed at Homesteaders Cove for 2 nights and the accommodations were great! We would recommend it to everyone. A great location and only a short walk to a park by the water.
We couldn't stay at the boondocking spot because of soft soil from rain, so we were offered to stay at the host's tropical little motel in Jensen Beach. We had a full hook up and it was a quiet stay, we were happy to pay the reasonable fee. Beautiful grounds with palm trees and gorgeous flowers. Thank you for letting us stay!
Fran's boondocking spot wasn't available due to the recent rains, but he offered a spot at his boutique vintage motel. The amenities and vibe there are amazing. Definitely worth a night there to catch up on laundry, enjoy the pool, hang out by the campfire or watch the game in the chickee hut. Full hookups available. Coin laundry and private outdoor hot shower too!
Although we didn't get to stay at his residence due to flooding, we were completely happy that Fran was able to allow us to park at his Boutique Motel lot. Had all the hook ups, pool and Laundry facilities. The place is super cute. Great site if you have dogs to walk as the community park is right behind the motel. Great location for touring. Thank you!
The site we were going to stay at was wet due to lots of rain in South Florida; however, Fran was able to accommodate us at another one of his properties. This place is beautiful. Fran responds to emails very quickly. We are very pleased with our stay.
Couldn’t have met nicer people. Great location. Helpful and kind. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Hope to visit again.
The folks here were very helpful. I stayed 3 nights snd enjoyed the local beaches. I really appreciate the hospitality!
I stayed here for 3 quiet peaceful nights and really enjoyed it. Easy access in and out and close to many beautiful beaches. Since I only required 110V electric I asked Fran if he could take a lesser donation and he graciously accepted without hesitation. I would definitely request this spot again if I’m in the area.
Good stay , not pretty, but close to coast & all shopping u needed
Host very accommodating & helpful
Great location for us—we were visiting friends in Stuart and Jupiter!
We never did get to meet Fran our host—schedules didn’t work. But John, his tenant, served as his unofficial ambassador
Nice quite site!! THANKS!
Meet Ron at arrival, he show me the spot and Help me with my questions.
Quiet at night
We did not personally meet with Franwilson but were directed to our overnight spot by a friend. Had a quiet and restful overnight on his property so thanks for that
The best thing about this place is the host Super warm welcome. I got a lot of info from the guy who lives in the property. Very good experience. It's also close to the Port Salerno cute city. Very accurate description. You have to pay a contribution fee.
Thank you Fran and R
The host was very nice, offering tips of place to go and things to see in the area. 30A electric, water, and RV dump at this site. A short drive to restaurants and beaches.
Great seafood restaurants in Port Salerno. Just a short drive away. It has amenities.
