We really enjoyed our stay here! Very quiet and they were both so helpful & friendly. Would definitely stay here again if in the area... Thank you so much!
Very nice. Lots of shade, good against heat but not so good if you rely on solar for your power. Beautiful place but where we were was not level. The auto levelers wouldn’t level without some sort of blocks under the tires first, then had to put some under the landing gear so they weren’t overextended. The care takers were extremely friendly and courteous. We did not use any services so cant say much on that other than they were offered. All that said, we would come back again. It a lovely place and what they are doing there is great.
Can’t say enough about Buck’s place. The hosts were very helpful and extremely nice. They visited with us for awhile and assisted in helping us set up. They were so sweet to our son showing them their let’s and offering for us to do an egg hunt for Easter if we wanted. They even hid a special egg for him. The site is in a wooded area so we felt like we were camping. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
The caretaker of the property kindly informed us that they had received a cancellation due to the winter storm in Texas. After days of driving through the storm, we were very grateful to be able to stay in the same place for a couple more days. Thanks for the courtesy and the bonus days!
This was our first Boondockers Welcome site. Even though the caretaker was experiencing the storm of the century and had no water or power, he graciously welcomed us. We were easily able to back our 44 ft. rig into the wooded parking area. Buck acres is a beautiful location and the caretaker and his wife are very kind and generous hosts. Thanks for making our first Boondockers stay so wonderful!
Nice place just outside Conroe, spent some time talking with grounds guy. We were in and out to explore. With you like dirt bike racing it is just across the street!
This was a fantastic place to stay for a few days and the host great! If your looking for a place to Boondock near Lake Conroe look no father.
Great spot that feels in the middle of nowhere, but very close to all the modern conveniences.
This was a fabulous location tucked into the woods, yet easily accessible. The owners are off-site but responsive and the on-site caretaker was very friendly. I parked and did not move for 5 days! I was the only RV - a few tenters showed up on the weekend. I hope to stay again when my travels take me near there again.
Peaceful quiet property. It was our first Boondocking stay and being among the tall trees was a very calming connection to nature. Very kind and intuitive people to work with. Would recommend anyone to stay here.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful tree-filled property. It feels like you're in a rural area, but all the stores and restaurants you would need are nearby and it's near Houston and very near Lake Conroe.
The caretaker was very nice and helpful. We stayed here with a 38ft. fifth wheel and it was easy to get in and out of the property. We'd definitely like to stay here again if we're in the area.
Nice people, great hosts, great location close to stores and restaurants but off a back road. They are working on building FHU spots in the future fas a paid campground.
This was our first Boondockers Welcome stay and it was great. Host was not on site but excellent communication. Caretakers were helpful and super friendly. Happy to have a place to stay for a few nights after several long driving days.
AlwaysHome hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Friendly and the area is beautiful next to a lake. Had a wonderful time and definitely coming back.
Great first experience with BW! We are sorry we didn’t get to meet the hosts as they were out of state, but we did meet the property caretaker. Very peaceful property and not far from a main route with lots of grocery and food options. Thanks to our hosts for the great stay!
Great location! easy access. Will stop again if we come this way!
We loved our stay at Buck Acres. The hosts were kind and accommodating, and the setting was beautiful. AlwaysHome communicated helpful information, and were quick to reply. Plenty of space for any rig, plus tow car if you have one. We stayed in the clearing in the photo in order to have sun for our solar panels, but there are many options on the property, both shaded and sunny. We look forward to staying with them again in the future.
