My little mini farm is in the Green Mt national forest area on 26 acres right off of a quiet well maintained unpaved forest service road.
This is a WIFI /chemical free zone sanctuary for people who can not tolerate the dangerous microwave emissions from phones, smart meters, and cell towers.
You are welcomed to plug in your laptop to my wired modem! There is limited cell service on my property depending on your carrier.
If you want to dump waste into my toilet, use the electricity and water then I ask for a 10 dollar donation as utilities in Vermont are some of the highest in the country.
If just using a water fill up and shower etc, $5.00 per night is all I would ask.

Simple or gourmet organic meals available by arrangement.
No drugs, loud music or heavy alcohol use on the property.
moderately easy access. This is a well maintained wide unpaved forest service road. It is steep on the south end coming from Route 73. This is in a mountainous rural area. In the spring mud season, the road can sometimes be too muddy for easy access.
There are some low hanging branches that large rigs would have a problem with (I found out), but am working on an alternate access.
You can park next to your rig right on the property. I have to prune some tree branches for really large rigs to get in here in my parking area at the road, but am making a possible entry onto the property from my field. Rigs with very low suspension may have some issues. Just inquirer.
Moosalamoo camp ground and national recreation area.
Town of Middlebury and Middlebury college which offers many activities.
long trail and Catamount hiking and ski trails. Lake Dunmore boating and fishing with boat rentals
The Blueberry Hill Inn is right down the road if you want an elaborate gourmet meal or want to go cross county skiing or hiking on the trails. There is not always seating there for people not staying at the Inn.
I am a trained chef and can also prepare simple to gourmet organic meals with advanced notice.
This "Highmeadow" was there to help us into pur spot, with a smile. She graciously corralled her adorable dogs to appease our elderly yorki-poo, and generously shared her lovely farm with us. So grateful to have met her. A kind host.
High Meadow is aptly named, a beautiful spot on a hilltop in the Green Mt. Forest that overlooks a peaceful pond and an awesome vista. The camping site behind the house is spacious and easily accommodated the two trailers that stayed during my two-day visit. There’s lot to do in Burlington and the nearby small towns in the area. Patrice is a fine hostess who knows the town and the entire area very well and can recommend activities, including walking on the mountain trails. She is friendly and helpful and will prepare a gourmet meal for a reasonable price if you give her a little advance notice. My first boondocking experience was a very good one.
Super host with a great location for the outdoor recreation enthusiast and adventurers. Beautiful views and landscaping. Really easy to park and setup, highly recommend for those with campers less than 25'. Look forward to visiting again. Thanks for a great time.
