Parking is in our front yard at the left of our home where you will see two windows and a sun mounted on the wall between. If needed, we can put you in front of the double gate which gives a little more room, but we prefer not to block that gate if possible as it is our only access to multiple trailers we use often. 15amp service is available via extension cord. We can fill your water tanks. No dump station. Our little humble abode is quiet and safe, though is an older neighborhood. Please don't let Google's Street View deter you from our lovely area. It is an older subdivision, but it quite safe and friendly. Quiet generators are acceptable if absolutely necessary. For more than one night, please consider using our https://www.hipcamp.com/florida/benjamin-h-s-land-2/old-edgewater-neighborhood listing and you can get $10 off your first stay using hipcamp.com/i/boattorv if you have never used that site before.
Quiet time is 8pm - 7am. Check-in is after noon and Check-out is by 11am unless otherwise requested, which we can generally work with unless we have another traveler scheduled to stay with us. We do have a rooster that will begin crowing around 4:30am, but he is small and way in the backyard so generally not noticeable.
Paved county maintained road. Tractor trailers from places like Rooms To Go and our 34' 5th wheel that is 13 feet 6 inches tall are able to make it down our street. Parking will be in front of our home, left side, on dirt/grass in front of the sun that is mounted on our wall between two windows. We park a 12,000 pound boat occasionally on the spot with no issues. It is fairly level, but you are welcome to use level ramps if you feel they are needed.
Tow vehicle may remain attached to the rig.
We are generally home (home office) unless we are camping or boating ourselves and will add blocked dates as needed. If the dates appear open, we are able to accommodate.
Pensacola Naval Museum if you are current or former military (civilians still not allowed on base for access to the museum). Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key Beach. Downtown Pensacola (about a $10 Uber ride each direction).
Very straightforward and easy stay near the beach. Kind hosts that let us check out late since they had the availability. Thank you so much!
We had a great stay, the hosts are very friendly and we enjoyed some good conversation over a drink upon arrival. Their dogs, chickens and ducks were all sooo cute.
If you’re in the Pensacola area we definitely recommend. Thanks for having us.
Great communication. Easy setup when we arrived. Two awesome classic cars in the driveway and a bonus rooster pet. What more could your ask for. Would love to stay again sometime.
This was an awesome spot!! We called on such short notice and were confused about the parking, but they were so kind and accommodating. It is a lovely little neighborhood and so wonderfully quite after two nights with trains and highways. We didn't get to meet them because of the rain, but they were truly very kind to me even when I was acting like a crazy lady!!! If you need a quick place to stop to be away from the cracker barrel traffic or trains, this is so worth it. I truly can't thank them enough!!
Stayed with BoatToRv while passing through the area on the way to visit family. They were very welcoming and accepted my request with little notice. So happy to have electric available needed due to HOT and humid weather. Had a good night's sleep before hitting the road again. Thanks so much for your hospitality! I would stay again if in the area.
The host was very helpful and friendly. The spot to park was easily accessed and level.
It was a nice quiet spot to get some work done and rest a while. Definitely would stay again if in the area.
Verizon service was great at this location.
We really appreciated getting to spend the night, and the kids looooved meeting the pet rooster. Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks guys!
Enjoyed our visit with the host family as they got us settled in. Level overnight stop appreciated electric and water.
Had a restful stay. Able to fill up on water. Great host thank you!
The hosts were friendly, met us on arrival, and helped us with electric and access to water. The neighborhood is older and quiet but close to restaurants and fuel. We felt quite safe and would gladly stay again next time we're in the area.
I appreciated the hosting here in Pensacola. Didn't get to meet my hosts in person because of my tight schedule, but the location was easy to find and get in and out of, and Pensacola is a great city to explore! Thanks much for the hospitality!
A very friendly and welcoming couple. We shared great conversation around many common interests, boating, RV’s and life. So enjoyed meeting them! Would love to have them come our way some time! It was very easy for us to back into and very level. Would return again if we are in their area.
Very nice and quiet place. When we arrived we were offered water, power and wifi. Too bad it was raining we could have talk about similar interests. Would not hesitate to go back again. Thanks
We had a great sleep and stay here. So quiet and safe. Would recommend for sure!
