Parking is in our front yard at the left of our home where you will see two windows and a sun mounted on the wall between. If needed, we can put you in front of the double gate which gives a little more room, but we prefer not to block that gate if possible as it is our only access to multiple trailers we use often. 15amp service is available via extension cord. We can fill your water tanks. No dump station. Our little humble abode is quiet and safe, though is an older neighborhood. Please don't let Google's Street View deter you from our lovely area. It is an older subdivision, but it quite safe and friendly. Quiet generators are acceptable if absolutely necessary. For more than one night, please consider using our https://www.hipcamp.com/florida/benjamin-h-s-land-2/old-edgewater-neighborhood listing and you can get $10 off your first stay using hipcamp.com/i/boattorv if you have never used that site before. Suggested Local Attractions:Pensacola Naval Museum if you are current or former military (civilians still not allowed on base for access to the museum). Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key Beach. Downtown Pensacola (about a $10 Uber ride each direction).

Quiet time is 8pm - 7am. Check-in is after noon and Check-out is by 11am unless otherwise requested, which we can generally work with unless we have another traveler scheduled to stay with us. We do have a rooster that will begin crowing around 4:30am, but he is small and way in the backyard so generally not noticeable.

Access Road Conditions: Paved county maintained road. Tractor trailers from places like Rooms To Go and our 34' 5th wheel that is 13 feet 6 inches tall are able to make it down our street. Parking will be in front of our home, left side, on dirt/grass in front of the sun that is mounted on our wall between two windows. We park a 12,000 pound boat occasionally on the spot with no issues. It is fairly level, but you are welcome to use level ramps if you feel they are needed. Married couple with a teen son, two dogs, many chickens, and some ducks. Details: We are avid boaters and even lived aboard our sailboat for 5 years with our son till he became a teenager and the space felt smaller, so now we are back in a house. We have a 5th wheel camper and are getting back into the boondocking fun after a few years spending more time on the water than land. While boating, we were essentially boondockers as we never visited marinas (aside from our home marina) and spent many nights anchored with nothing but the wind and solar. We own a local real estate brokerage and can assist with any questions about our local market if you happen to fall in love with our area when passing through. :) Home Town: Pensacola, FL Favorite Boondocking Locations: So far we haven't found a location where we didn't enjoy boondocking. Though there are many location we wish boondocking was available. Skills or Expertise to Share: 100T USCG Master Captain with towing/sailing endorsements. Florida real estate broker. Backyard Poultry (don't eat the birds, but we do enjoy their eggs).

These hosts helped me out last minute! Unfortunately the host I had planned for the night cancelled on me last minute and left me scrambling - and these folks helped me out. I didn't hook up at all, just needed a night to rest for the night and leave the next morning. Great folks to chat with and super kind. Thanks for the save, I appreciate you very much.
