Nature Nerd or City Gal? 'Green Acres' Theme Song constantly plays in my head - City or Country??!! They're BOTH so FUN! :) Details: I've got my (debt free) home all squared away so now i can finally get going on my bucket list and enjoy life and travel some. Looking to hit the road for cooler weather cause South Central TX summers are killin me! Love quiet, and raised an Eagle Scout..clean and considerate of property. Just me and my little dog 'pack' who are, essentially, well behaved. Home Town: Somerville Texas, is my current abode: The 'granny cabin' (aka: Mini McMansion) on a tiny lake. Bryan/College Station is nearby; (Tx A & M and fastest growing city in TX and ? 5th in county) is only a 25 min. drive with an awesome quaint downtown with very interesting shops. Austin is a little over an hour. Houston is 90 min. Waco (Magnolia, i.e. 'Chip and JoAnna')!:) is 2 hours with a great little café 1/2 way in Cameron, Tx. Birth and childhood in Omaha. :) Favorite Boondocking Locations: Dreaming of Flagstaff area. Under Construction. :) Skills or Expertise to Share: As a drunken cowboy once shared back in the '70s: "I know sumpin 'bout everything!" but I won't force it on you! :):) This happens when you live long enough. I knit and crochet, had a knee replaced, homeschooled my 3 kids, am a dog trainer, and was even in the Air Force. I spent most of my adult working years before motherhood, as a Legal Sec/Asst.
