Parking would be available in a large grassy area of my yard and the end of the grass drive. It's not a pull through but there is a lot of room to maneuver. Turning around would not be difficult. It's not particularly level but not so out of level that leveling would be difficult.
Please arrive before dark. There is a gate but I leave it unlocked when guests are due in. Pull up, open the gate, pull forward, close the gate, please. Dogs are welcome but have them under your control in the yard area. There is plenty of field space for off leash walking and people walking also. Act like the responsible adults I know you are and we'll all get along just fine.
I am located on a well maintained state highway. The lot is five acres of mostly pasture with the residence and parking at the back side of the five acres. The drive of perhaps 350' getting to the residence area is grass with fence to the right side. Just stay close to the fence until you pass a post on your left. Night time access would be difficult as we are in the country, so to speak, and it gets dark and difficult to find the turn off if not familiar. I am at the backside of the five acres but you will still get traffic noise, mostly 7 AM to 8 AM and 5 PM to 6 PM week days. It doesn't bother me but if you're particularly sensitive to some traffic consider it. The 10 acres beside me and behind me are both horse properties so there will be horses along the fence lines at times. The five acres beside me is vacant pasture available for walking, as is my five acres. A loop around is .4 miles. Do both lots and it's .8 miles.
Well I live here and like most locals I don't think there's much to do off the property. I picked this location partly because of it's proximity to I-10 and I-75. Supplies of all types are available and traffic into the big city, about 15 miles away, isn't bad. That being said there are plenty of hiking and canoe/kayaking opportunities in the general area. The Florida Trail along the Suwanee River is some of my favorite hiking and a run out to Cedar Key isn't too far. But the peace and solitude of the property itself keeps me home mostly. One of the things I like most is we rarely have a mosquito stop by. As the property is cleared we are treated to fantastic sunrises and sunsets and can enjoy evenings out with getting bitten.
We had a wonderful stay here. The property and surrounding areas are beautiful. The owner is also a really nice guy. Thank you once again! A stay here is highly recommended.
Very welcoming host. Beautiful setting in horse country. Wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to be back.
