We really enjoyed our stay with Ian en Anne. A warm welcome in the beautiful garden with lovely colorful flowers. We enjoy 2 days in Victoria.
Ian en Anne welcomed us in there house to share the stories of there travels en appelpie! :)
We hope we can welcome them once in Holland so we can bake e real dutch appelpie for them.
Thanks so much .
These hosts are unbelievably welcome and their property I'm the woods is absolutely stunning. We even started one night longer then planned. Thank you for sharing your home, time and experience with us!
They met us at their gate and were just so accommodating and friendly. They have pretty walking trails across their property, a beautiful garden and even shared some of the fruit with us. The site is up a hill and a tad tricky to get into but they were also helpful with that! These hosts even went so far as to give us maps and brochures of local museums and recommendations on authors. Just an interesting, pleasant and thoughtful couple in a relaxing quiet neighborhood. We were so thrilled to stay here and hope to do so again someday.
We were on a early spring trip throughout vancouver island, and sundance hosted us for 3 nights. They made us feel very welcome and even invited us for supper the first day. as other boondockers wrote, sundance will get known for the yummy homemade applepie! they got a beautyful house in the woods, and a lovely oven. it was a pleasure to meet them, wish you a great cycling trip in europe. thanks for all your support. flurin and yvonne
We loved staying at Sundance's place! We faithfully followed our GPS's left-right-left etc instructions and found ourselves exactly as promised at the driveway. We admired the veggie garden with jumbo onions, were allowed to pick our supper of beans, and soaked up the peace and quiet of the place.
Once our hosts came home we spent an enjoyable evening sharing stories and repeated this the next morning over coffee.
Sundance, thank you for your great hospitality! We hope that you'll come and visit us one day!
What a pleasure to meet Sundance. They have a wonderful garden with the perfect set up for RV guests. As we are overseas visitors they really helped us out with tips and maps. Ian even made us some levelling blocks. Just overwhelmed by their kindness.
Anne & Ian were wonderful hosts! We stayed at their place for two nights and they did everything to make our stay the most comfortable as possible! Besides inviting us for dessert (if you go on like this, you'll be famous for your apple pie! ;)...), they told us their travel stories, they hooked us up with everything we needed and even connected us with their friends to help us out on our job search. Once more: Thank you for everything!
We stayed one night at this beautiful rural property and were welcomed with a little gift of produce from you their vegetable garden. We were offered water and 30 amp service at a nice level private site. Very friendly and thoughtful couple. Highly recommended.
These folks hosted us for one night and made sure we knew we were welcome to stay again whenever. They grow Rhododendrons as a hobby and even though they are close to Victoria they have ten fabulous treed acres. Not only did we have water,we also had electric hook-up.....they even invited us over for dessert after dinner...great hosts...thanks...Doug and Cheryl
