Leave a reference for this hostWe are located 15 miles from Hutchinson, 3 miles from Cheney Lake State Park, 40 miles from Wichita. Our RV sites are accessed by gravel paths and are near our ponds and pasture. RV dump is accessed by backing. Storm shelter is available at hosts house. We offer privacy, peace and quiet in the country.
We are RVers ourselves, so appreciate the availability of safe overnight parking, but also know the value of comfort and amenities. So we are willing to accept contributions for our efforts to accommodate your needs. We reserve the right to limit campfires during periods of high fire danger, and to limit your access during periods of high water. Common sense and common courtesy, tho less and less common these days, are always appreciated!
We are located just off a major State Highway, access to a spot to park is only limited during extreme wet weather.
Plenty of room for parking next to the rig.
We do some traveling ourselves, but feel free to give us a call and see if we can accommodate you.
Yoder - Amish community and restaurant. Stratica - underground storage and museum in former salt mine. Cosmosphere - space museum and theater. Bike trails at local lake.
We were parked by the pond with the prairie all around. Very peaceful and private. Our hosts went above and beyond to welcome us. Very much enjoyed visiting with them. Hoping to keep in touch with these new wonderful friends.
I was enjoying my stay at rcKrehbiel. I was planning to stay only 1 night, but stayed 4 nights. Their place is beautiful, and I was blessed staying there.
The hosts was very nice people. I had an issue with my trailer, the host helped me fix it which I am very grateful for.
I definitely would like to come back, if I am passing through.
Great place to stay, from the owner helping us in from the street, to the park like setting. Was able to have electric and water hookup. Lakes to fish and frisbee golf.. plenty of swings to swing. Would definitely come back.
Very welcoming hosts! Have a disc golf course! Several ponds, picnic tables and a great sunset view were part of our stay! Lovely!
While we only stayed for one day, it left a lasting impression.
We hooked up by the pond and it was just beautiful.
Our dogs loved running in the field and my dad and I loved watching the sun set over the pond.
Rckrehbiel and his wife were some of the nicest, most hospitable people we’ve ever met.
If we are ever back in the area, we definitely would love to stop in.
We stopped here for one night on our way through Kansas. It was an amazing spot. Our great hosts made us feel right at home and we enjoyed sharing RV stories with them. They have an 80 acre farm with several spots for RVs. We chose a spot next to one of their ponds under some huge cottonwood trees that must have been over 100 years old. It was very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. We even met their cats and the Shetland pony that roams the pastures. One of our best experiences yet. Thanks for allowing us to share your home!!
What wonderful hosts they are! Went out of their way to make this newbie feel comfortable and helped me learn more about my Travel Trailer too - thanks so much. Had a 50 amp hook up, and I used my plug to make into a 30 amp - right next to where I pulled into, by the barn and under a great shade tree - which is well trimmed to not hit any branches!
Kittens are here right now and adorable. Even my dog loved them.
Easy to pull into and out of - any size set up you have - plenty of room. Just turning into driveway is the most narrow part - otherwise acres of land. I heard they have a zip line and pond, but didn't see or use.
If you're passing thru anywhere near by - make the stop here for a quiet night's sleep and enjoy!
Thanks again Pretty Prairie Song & Dance for making this newbie feel welcomed.
Beautiful place and great hosts. We appreciated being able to have water and electricity hookups and being able to dump at their place before leaving. That’s very convenient. It was easy to come in and out.
Great hosts! Even though we didn’t get to meet them, they were very nice and responsive. Our kids really enjoyed playing with the kittens that live on the farm. We loved taking walks around the farm.
We loved this place. It’s very nice to be connected to water and electricity. We got to dump before we left. We are very thankful for that.
The property was soo pretty with a pond you could jump off the diving board or zip line into the water. The land was peaceful and the view was gorgeous. Our host was very helpful. Would definitely stay again!
Over night stay beautiful prairie and pond view!
Cell tower close with 5 bars of AT&T
Would definitely stay again!
Power was available but we used our solar!
Wonderful experience! Our hosts were so welcoming & friendly. We enjoyed great conversation with them both upon arrival and departure. The land was beautiful. There was a nice walking path back to 2 lakes, a quaint sitting bench and an adorable swinging bench from a large tree. Plenty of room to enjoy the beautiful views of pasture and farm land but private enough to feel nestled. We really enjoyed this experience and will definitely stop here again if we're back in the area.
Enjoyed our overnight stay and host was very pleasant and helpful. Took a walk out back along the pond and the back fields (watch out for droppings!) to stretch out. Very nice place, and enjoyed ourselves.
