Convient to stores, gas station, laundromat and a cute main street. Host helped me when I tripped the breaker even though he wasn't home.. thanks!!
We didn’t get a chance to meet our host but everything was set up and available. Great for a pit stop on our way home.
It was a little tight getting in and out, but doable. We didn't meet our host until morning but he had left us clear instructions for setting up which we did in short order. Electric and water hookups were a nice touch. We met our host in the morning, he had been sleeping on his boat overnight. He and I swapped boat and RV stories and he offered some great suggestions for scenic driving routes, where we could find the best gas prices, and some good restaurants.
We really enjoyed our time. The area was very quiet during the evening. Our host was warm and accommodating, providing water and electricity. Backing onto the property takes a bit more experience than a novice, with a larger rig.
owindigo was very accommodating. He has google vm so leave message and he calls right back. Very responsive. Nice spot in North East PA.
This was our first Boondockers experience and it went very well. Everything was as expected. It was an easy and pleasant stay in a beautiful area. James is a knowledgeable host and we enjoyed our visits with him.
We would stay there again.
This stay is in a great location, convenient to stores, restaurants, beaches, and Erie. It was a nice shaded spot and our rig had plenty of height clearance (12.5 ft). Our host was a really interesting guy and could not have been nicer. He had great recommendations for things to do in the area as well as a scenic route to take to our next stop! Would love to visit again if we are back in the area- very pleasant stay.
Thanks for the pleasant overnight stay (and the chance to top-off our fresh water supply)! Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet and interact, but we had a great time exploring the area (e.g., golfed at Green Meadows, picked up some fresh sweet corn at nearby Klenz Farms, bought a bottle of local wine from Arundel Cellars, etc.)
Thank you for letting us stay at your house. Sorry we missed you . We live on a boat in the winter going up and down FL Waterway. Would have enjoyed talking to you about boating and RV travels. Another time.
Pretty straight forward. Easy in, easy out. 30’ with small trailer. Got both slides out.
Good dude. He was even able to help me trouble shoot an engine issue I had.
The location was within walking distance of the center of town. We enjoyed bike rides to the beach and on lots of back roads with grape fields everywhere. Found the local ice cream shop which was good. Host did stop by to visit with us, which was nice to meet him. Would definitely recommend.
Captain James stayed on his boat so I had the place to myself. In the morning we had a nice visit. Of course we love to travel so exchanged notes. See you in Hot Well Dunes my friend
We came in to site with no problems, setup and just settled in when we had an issue arise that required us to continue on our trip. So did not spend all night. Appreciate your hospitality and hope to meet you next trip.
I never had the pleasure to meet owindigo, are paths never crossed, but I did have a great overnight stay at his property.Easy to find had a electric hook up and water if needed, would like to stay again if I have a chance.
James is a wonderful host - we had whatever we needed (power, water) and a nice place to park. We walked our pups through the neighborhood as a bonus. James gave us great directions and advice for our next day's adventure. Thank you!
Never met.
