Leave a reference for this hostWe are just a few blocks off Hwy #3 which is a major route for travellers to and from the US states south of us including Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Arizona and California.
Our city of 100,00 has lots of services and amenities so is a great place to stop.
We are close to a Visitor Centre that has a free sanitation station.
There is a large park, with a walking path around a man made lake, children's playground and public swimming pool within a block or two of our house.
Our parking area is usually accessible even in winter so if you are a snowbird you are welcome to stop on your way to warmer weather.
Pets should be on a leash for their safety because of proximity to the street.
There is an accessible garbage bin for bagged waste.
Smoking is allowed on the parking pad.
Quiet time is 10 pm to 7 am and outside speakers should not be used anytime.
The electrical outlet is only 15 amps so will not safely run an air conditioner or a water heater. Microwaves can be iffy depending on how powerful they are and if another appliance is being used at the same time.
Our spot is a large gravel parking pad approx 30' x 26'. It is between our garage and the street but open to the alley so easy to back into. If your RV is larger it would need to park on an angle but otherwise if your RV is short enough to back in straight you can park your tow vehicle beside it.
Our street is busy at times during the day but usually very quiet at night. We are on a corner so there are several street lights around us which keep the area lit at night.
If your RV takes the whole spot there is lots of street parking.
Lethbridge boasts a large train bridge that is famous for its engineering, a Japanese Gardens, Museum and Art Gallery as well as numerous parks, cycling and walking paths. Our river bottom has many trails and a Nature Centre as well as Fort Whoop Up which brings the history of this area to life.
Popular touurist spots around us include Waterton National Park, Frank Slide, Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump and many more.
We have been to most attractions in our area so can offer suggestions and information as needed.
Hosts were friendly and lovely to chat with. Very nice neighborhood. Hope to stay again when we're passing through town. Thanks again!
Perfectly lovely area and large, level gravel pad next to garage. Hosts were friendly, made themselves available for questions, and had useful advice for dump station and safest route during high winds.
This was the perfect spot to stay while visiting family & friends.
Great place to stay. Close to a lake for a pleasant walk. Owners are super friendly as well.
A stress free stay despite the rain and hail on our journey to Lethbridge. A lovely site right off the back lane and the main road, great directions. Easy peasy!
Our hosts communicated well and were there as we packed up our Travelbug to head home. Will definitely stay there again.
Wow! Such accommodating hosts! And what a nice private spot to be in. Immaculate yard. We found it very relaxing. Thank you so much!
