Our location is only 1/2 mile from I 84 and close to a Space Age travel center so you can fuel up and get camping supplies there. It is located at our manufacturing facility for the Jack-E-Up removable trailer jack devise but we do not live on the property. There is a renter living in the house on the property and we would not want you to bother them as you are our guest and not theirs. The camping site is at the North East corner of the golden colored large building just past the loading dock. You can park on the asphalt or gravel but please try to leave by 9:00 AM so that you don't block the business doors or docks. You can arrive anytime after 5:00 PM
Warning!!! The fence around the solar panels is electric and has quite a bite, so don't touch it or let your pet touch it. It will not kill you but you will be sure to remember the experience as not a pleasant one.
We are providing this space out of the kindness of out hearts so please leave it as good or better than you found it. Be a responsible pet owner and DO NOT let our pet run free and make sure you pick up after them.
The area is level so please do not put your jack down and push them through the asphalt or gravel area.
You are Boondocking so please don't plug into the outlets that are outside the building.
Please arrive after 3 PM and leave before 9 AM as to not interfere with our business.
Don't wander off the gravel area to the North of the site as that is NOT our property and you would be considered trespassing on their property.
Leave to the West and South on the same road you can in on and NOT to the East as the gate is locked and there is no turn round at the locked gate.
Enjoy your stay and respect our wishes.
Paved road for 1/2 mile off of the interstate and gravel for the last 100 yards. The camping area is 85 feet wide so you should be able to turn around without any problem. You can also back in to a paved area. No trees or low hanging wires. and the location is next to a future RV park under construction.
Any place on the gravel North and East of the building.
There are two very nice winery's only 7 miles down the road at Echo.
I didn’t meet my hosts, unfortunately, but their RV site was so quiet and peaceful, which I appreciated very much. Thank you both for your kind hospitality.
Convenient location. Quiet and private. Good level asphalt area.
Great spot for a quick one night rest.
Our first Boondock night. Great experience.
Nice sunset from the access road.
Thank you kmadison for hosting.
This was our second time here and it is perfect for us trying to get a head start out of Portland on a Friday on our way east. The location I had easy access to Hwy 84 and to a fuel station. The host is always very quick to respond. Great place!
Great stop if traveling I84. Easy in and out and plenty of space. Didn’t need to unhook Cherokee toad from 31 ft Georgetown.
Host cheerfully accommodated date change request.
A little noise from I84 but calm over night.
This host was very responsive, the site was exactly how it was advertised. Close to some amenities and fairly close to town. Right off the freeway but not too close to be disturbed by traffic. Great spot to rest for the evening. Unique setting.
Super convenient & the hosts were very communicative. We were very late due to a horrible traffic backup and the hosts couldn’t have been nicer and let us come anyway. A big thank you!
Just what we needed a quite night rest. Area is construction site for a green campground. Host directed up to an safe level area to park. No problem for us. Please watch if you travel with children, as there is construction equipment and objects they may find interesting but also dangerous. I can't wait to see the campground finished, finally a campground built by a seasoned camper.
Great spot to take a break out of the wind on the way home to Portland. Communication was excellent and we felt very safe. Easy to get to right off the highway, and the nearby location of the RV friendly gas station a plus (there are even showers available). Cool to see an RV Park under construction!
We enjoyed a quiet night just off the interstate with a beautiful sunset and sunrise backlighting the century old barn across the nearby field. We didn't arrive in time to check out the local wineries, but we did have a nice dinner and sampled local beers at Nookie's Brewery.
We arrived a little early and he said it was no problem. Made room for us in the shade. It’s right next to his shop so it’s got mechanical things around but it’s all good.
Rolled in just before dark. Had a quiet nights rest. The host was a great communicator.
