We are semi-retired, enjoy RVing and sharing the beautiful area in which we live with others. Details: We are previous B&B owners who enjoy meeting and hosting people. Frank was an environmental consultant and Barb was a Human Resources Manager. We have only been RVing for the past few years (and love doing it!) but have traveled extensively in the US and Europe. We still work part time (to help our children and grandchildren and pay for travel) and enjoy keeping busy. Our experiences as Boondocker hosts have been great. It is fun to share travel knowledge and experiences. Home Town: Our home town is the wonderful village of Eaton, NH. The small beautiful Crystal Lake is in town. We are surrounded by lakes and mountains and close to Mt. Chocorua and Mt. Washington plus the Presidentials. It is an amazing area for all outdoor activities. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have not yet boondocked but are really looking forward to it. We have had some wonderful experiences with those who have boondocked here at our home. Our favorite spots for traveling in our RV thus far have been near Burlington, VT and Acadia National Park. Skills or Expertise to Share: We are familiar with the White Mtn area. I (Frank) am a pretty good wrench and I have lots of tools. Barb loves to cook and bake and we both like to share our travel experiences and learn about new travel opportunities.

I was supposed to stay here tomorrow for two nights. The host just informed me that they are not going to be hosts anymore. Now I am scrambling for a place for the next two nights near Fryeburg, ME.

This BW site was lovely and peaceful. The hosts were very accommodating and communicated all the information I needed and then called me to assure a safe arrival. The conversations we shared were so enjoyable, my only regret is that there wasn't enough time to interact with them. They are an interesting couple and very gracious hosts. They met me and offered water, power and wifi and then proceeded to do my hook ups. I was invited into their motorhome, a very nice rig and they looked at mine. We shared traveling stories and tips about equipment. I hope to return soon and be able to visit again. I highly recommend this Little Gem in Mt. Washington Valley, you will not be disappointed. So grateful that they accepted my request.

We had a couple of restful, peaceful nights stays in this quiet corner of NH, while in the area to visit the White Mountains & ride the Cog Railway. Our conversations with F & B were great, but they were limited by our time and of course Covid, wish we could have shared more of our travel stories. The lack of Cell Phone Service was problematic & a surprise upon arrival - my husband is on work-from-home status, my mom is at assisted living, and a good friend’s dog was in surgery— it was not a good time for us to be “off the grid”! So maybe “No Cell Service” should be Noted on BoondockersWelcome Site? We do hope we meet again somewhere in our travels in the Southwest!

White mtns was a great host to us! Approved a last minute stay request, provided clear driving directions, offered electric and water hookups. Well traveled couple with great stories and recommendations to share - highly recommend if you are stopping through the area! Note: There is no cell service at their property, but they did offer us a phone from inside their house.
