We stayed with Jeff and Cindy 9\13 They met us at the corner of the highway and led us to the site. Electric water and sewer. Jeff gave us a tour of their land including a 30 ft. waterfall. Also the house their RV and Corvette. It was a pleasure to spend a day with people who are so generous and have had and interesting life to share with you. Thanks you both for being great hosts. Oasis Walter and Beth
Words cannot express the kindness of these hosts. Over the top!! Very accommodating. The Coachhouse is a must see not to mention the Polaris ride to the waterfall. I have a 35 ft Class A pulling a 21 ft. boat. Easy in and easy out. Thanks to J&C. I was just looking for a place to park for the night and got a 5 Star resort in my opinion. Hope to see you soon!!
This location is a perfect place to stay for us. They have great hookups, out of the way, and a quiet place to stay. The hosts are super friendly and I wished I had them as my direct family!! They are accommodating in every way and will show you the wonderful place they have. They have built a beautiful place to live and share with their friends.
I definately look forward to finding a reason to come back here to visit.
We came to Jeff and Cindy's home just expecting a place to park our camper for the night. However they took us in and treated us like family. Their gift of hospitality was a big blessing to us.
While hosts not at home they made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Enjoyed our 1 night stay immensely. Highly recommend.
We had a great stay, they took us all around the property and showed us the highlights. Then we sat and had a bit of dinner and heard great stories about the building of their home.. then listen to some music and they showed us a few dance moves!! After a glass of wine and ice tea it was time to turn in.. a very quite and peaceful place.. we could not ask for better host and new friends! We can not wait to visit in the fall!! Thank you so much!!
J&C are the hosts with the most. We were told to be prepared to be spoiled and these hosts did not disappoint. They were most gracious sharing not only an awesome full-hookup RV spot, but also their personal home, incredible coach, coach house, shop and the unique property they have. We had great conversations, shared some comfort food, and felt as welcome as one could. They are pet friendly too. Their hard work and excellent design of their home really shows.
We would come back and visit in a heartbeat.
Wow! What a great place and wonderful hosts too! This is a beautiful private property of 10 acres with an amazing home. If you get close to the area, we'd highly recommend you staying here. While we stayed during the Covid 19 lock down, and couldn't take advantage of the many things to see and do in the area, this will be a place we go back to when we can. J and C are wonderful people who we felt were life long friends from the moment we met. They not only gave us a tour of their wonderful grounds, but their new home as well.
What an amazing stay! Our hosts pulled out all the stops! They met us as we pulled off the main road onto their street and escorted us all the way to our site, setting us up with 50 amp power, water, and even sewer hook ups.
We got a tour of their custom built, open floor plan, industrial modern home which they designed themselves, incorporating abandoned components of an old asphalt production facility that had once been on the property. We got to see their impressive class A and check out the customized Corvette that both sit in the garage.
But wait, there’s more!
We also got a tour of their property and the surrounding environs, the highlight of which was a short walk to a picturesque waterfall where an old grist mill once stood.
We joined them on the back porch for drinks and a wide ranging discussion while enjoying the sun setting on an eventful day.
I’m convinced if you look up the word “hospitality”, you’ll find a picture of them beside the definition in the dictionary!
I cannot recommend this location and these hosts strongly enough. If you enjoy good company, fascinating conversation, and breathtaking scenery, you’d be hard pressed to improve on this place!
Wonderful Hosts and location. We were treated to a relaxing dinner and tour of their lovely property. We additionally toured the local towns with our hosts including seeing the rendering of sugar cane at Todd’s Syrup Farm and meeting the owners Mr. & Mrs. Todd. This was the epitome of Boondockers Welcome.
Expected a comfortable place for the evening and instead found an engaging and welcoming couple who made us feel like old friends.
The hosts were fantastic. They have a unique set up perfect for hosting boondockers. I plugged in, had water, and was able to dump--all very easy. I shared a wonderful meal with my hosts in the evening and got a tour of their property in the morning. Just a great stop overall. I hope to see them again in Florida!
