We had such a wonderful experience at J&C coach house. This was our first experience using Boondockers Welcome and second time out in our fifth wheel. The host were amazing and provided a wealth of information regarding RVing, national park destinations, and the history of their home. Both J & C were a joy to meet and made our family feel like we were spending a wknd with extended family!! I truly hope our paths cross again in this dance of life
J&C were outstanding hosts. They were kind enough to give us a tour of their home and property as well as include us in a get together on the back porch. Very gracious hospitality! Highly recommend and hope to visit again.
We arrived to meet Jeff and Cindy as they met us at the highway and we followed them in. Jeff was very helpful in getting us set up. They then gave a tour of their beautiful home. They have put a lot of work in to it to make their own. They let us know when happy hour was, it was great. After driving all day it was nice to relax. They have beautiful property and it's nice that they share it with you. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.
The best boondock stay ever. Hope we can find an excuse to stay again. You will not regret staying here.
Great experience at the J & C Coach House! Toured their home, ate and relaxed on the porch, walked down to the waterfall. Used on site 50 amp power, water, and convenient dump station. Couldn't ask for a better stay or hosts. We will be back!. Thank you for your hospitality!
These are my new favorite people, just when you think that people cannot get any nicer then you come across these hosts!!! The hiking, the dancing, the concerts, great food and super fantastic hosts, it just doesn't get any better than this stay. We cannot wait to see you again soon, probably this winter. You are the GREATEST!!
I can’t begin to say what a wonderful time me and Frankie Anne (the fog) had at J & C Coachhouse! We were given a tour of their fabulous home and it’s history along with seeing their beautiful motorhome, and tour of their property that includes a waterfall where Frankie immediately jumped in and had a swim. We were treated to appetizers and a fantastic dinner with another Boondocking couple who were there for the night . We stayed 2 nights and felt like we were on a wonderful vacation....By the end of the 2nd day I think my dog would have stayed if she could!! So much land to run and explore!! I hope we pass that way again as it’s a Boondockers paradise! Did I mention they even have a sewer hook up!! Thank you for treating us like family! We truly loved meeting this wonderful couple!!
I can’t say enough good things about J&C. We felt like we’ve known them our whole lives. They were so welcoming, kind, & big hearted. My son wanted to adopt them into the family LOL. They gave an incredible tour of their beautiful coach home and we’re wonderfully company!! We can’t wait to go back!
J&C were so accommodating and made us feel very welcomed to their beautiful property. We got the grand tour which was lovely. Spending time with them was like visiting family.... comfortable and relaxing which was a nice break from traveling.
What a wonderful couple. We totally enjoyed our stay and felt as though we had known them for years. This world is blessed by couples like this.
Great quiet and secluded property with a neighboring waterfall that should not be missed.
Last night, we had the privilege of staying at “J & C Coach House”. It was an exceptionally wonderful experience. “J” met us at the highway intersection and led us to the spot to park. The spot was perfect; level, scenic, quiet, with electric & water.
While “C” had other obligations, “J” graciously spent his time orienting us their property and home & sharing with us about it’s history and development. We found it fascinating. He even invited us to happy hour which also included tasty hors d’ oeuvres. Needless to say, we really enjoyed our stay, spending time and getting to know him! We look forward to meeting “C” on our next visit and spending a bit more time here. Absolutely fantastic hosts!
We stayed at J & C Coachhouse over the Easter weekend and boy, were we spoiled! They live on a secure property and offered full hookups on a level site. We were given a wonderful tour of the house and surrounding land. We really enjoyed the hike to the waterfall and the stories about the property. We had a terrific couple of nights of quiet sleep, good food and good conversation. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. If we are in the area, we will definitely stay here again.
J&C Coach House is a beautiful, quiet, relaxing place. The hosts gave generously of their time, stories, and more. I will look forward to a future opportunity to visit with them again & return their hospitality. Thank you just isn't enough.
Beautiful, secure property, easy to find and get in and out of. We were offered full hookups and a perfectly level spot for our travel trailer. We spent a great evening with hosts who are beyond nice, lifelong RVers, very inspiring people. Thank you, J&C! We couldn't expect a better Boondockers Welcome experience!
Great spot to spend the day, host were very friendly, hiking trails, waterfall, plenty of privacy, level spot, property and house tour.
We enjoyed some great Southern hospitality while visiting with J & C. Their home has a very distinctive layout and construction that they are rightly very proud of.
The accommodations are top notch. It's hard to call it Boondocking when you have a level site with access to 50A power, water and sewer.
This was our 2nd BW experience and future locations will have to go long way to exceed this place.
For those of you traveling looking for the perfect place to call home, let this place be your inspiration. The history of the place as well as the personalized architecture utilizing/repurposing existing materials can be an inspiration for all of us. Host was kind enough to offer full hookups as well tour of his property, bonus, it wore my pup out. Thanks again for hosting
If there was a Hall of Fame for hosts "Coach House" would be the charter members. From their very first communication with us to their exceptional hospitality they made our stay with them absolutely perfect. Their site right off a main road was nestled under pine trees with full hookups! We received the already legendary tour of their "coach house" and property. What an amazing home! We enjoyed happy hour and dinner. Great conversation. Great hosts! Great people!
We stayed with Jeff and Cindy 9\13 They met us at the corner of the highway and led us to the site. Electric water and sewer. Jeff gave us a tour of their land including a 30 ft. waterfall. Also the house their RV and Corvette. It was a pleasure to spend a day with people who are so generous and have had and interesting life to share with you. Thanks you both for being great hosts. Oasis Walter and Beth
Words cannot express the kindness of these hosts. Over the top!! Very accommodating. The Coachhouse is a must see not to mention the Polaris ride to the waterfall. I have a 35 ft Class A pulling a 21 ft. boat. Easy in and easy out. Thanks to J&C. I was just looking for a place to park for the night and got a 5 Star resort in my opinion. Hope to see you soon!!
This location is a perfect place to stay for us. They have great hookups, out of the way, and a quiet place to stay. The hosts are super friendly and I wished I had them as my direct family!! They are accommodating in every way and will show you the wonderful place they have. They have built a beautiful place to live and share with their friends.
I definately look forward to finding a reason to come back here to visit.
We came to Jeff and Cindy's home just expecting a place to park our camper for the night. However they took us in and treated us like family. Their gift of hospitality was a big blessing to us.
While hosts not at home they made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Enjoyed our 1 night stay immensely. Highly recommend.
We had a great stay, they took us all around the property and showed us the highlights. Then we sat and had a bit of dinner and heard great stories about the building of their home.. then listen to some music and they showed us a few dance moves!! After a glass of wine and ice tea it was time to turn in.. a very quite and peaceful place.. we could not ask for better host and new friends! We can not wait to visit in the fall!! Thank you so much!!
J&C are the hosts with the most. We were told to be prepared to be spoiled and these hosts did not disappoint. They were most gracious sharing not only an awesome full-hookup RV spot, but also their personal home, incredible coach, coach house, shop and the unique property they have. We had great conversations, shared some comfort food, and felt as welcome as one could. They are pet friendly too. Their hard work and excellent design of their home really shows.
We would come back and visit in a heartbeat.
Wow! What a great place and wonderful hosts too! This is a beautiful private property of 10 acres with an amazing home. If you get close to the area, we'd highly recommend you staying here. While we stayed during the Covid 19 lock down, and couldn't take advantage of the many things to see and do in the area, this will be a place we go back to when we can. J and C are wonderful people who we felt were life long friends from the moment we met. They not only gave us a tour of their wonderful grounds, but their new home as well.
What an amazing stay! Our hosts pulled out all the stops! They met us as we pulled off the main road onto their street and escorted us all the way to our site, setting us up with 50 amp power, water, and even sewer hook ups.
We got a tour of their custom built, open floor plan, industrial modern home which they designed themselves, incorporating abandoned components of an old asphalt production facility that had once been on the property. We got to see their impressive class A and check out the customized Corvette that both sit in the garage.
But wait, there’s more!
We also got a tour of their property and the surrounding environs, the highlight of which was a short walk to a picturesque waterfall where an old grist mill once stood.
We joined them on the back porch for drinks and a wide ranging discussion while enjoying the sun setting on an eventful day.
I’m convinced if you look up the word “hospitality”, you’ll find a picture of them beside the definition in the dictionary!
I cannot recommend this location and these hosts strongly enough. If you enjoy good company, fascinating conversation, and breathtaking scenery, you’d be hard pressed to improve on this place!
Wonderful Hosts and location. We were treated to a relaxing dinner and tour of their lovely property. We additionally toured the local towns with our hosts including seeing the rendering of sugar cane at Todd’s Syrup Farm and meeting the owners Mr. & Mrs. Todd. This was the epitome of Boondockers Welcome.
Expected a comfortable place for the evening and instead found an engaging and welcoming couple who made us feel like old friends.
The hosts were fantastic. They have a unique set up perfect for hosting boondockers. I plugged in, had water, and was able to dump--all very easy. I shared a wonderful meal with my hosts in the evening and got a tour of their property in the morning. Just a great stop overall. I hope to see them again in Florida!
